«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է

Իր պարզության և ցածր գնի շնորհիվ այն ԱՄՆ-ում սկսել է դառնալ ամենատարածված ալկոհոլային խմիչքներից մեկը: ԱՄՆ-ում «չոր օրենքի» ժամանակ, երբ ալկոհոլն արգելված է եղել, բնակչությունը տանն է բուրբոն պատրաստել: Իսկ «Մեծ ճգնաժամի» ժամանակ բուրբոնը դարձել է մարդկանց մեծ մասի սիրած ըմպել իքը իր ցածր գնի պատճառով: Ներկայումս բուրբոնի մի քանի տեսակներ գոյություն ունեն: Ամբողջ աշխարհում բուրբոնը հանդիսանում է որակի չափանիշ և դասվում է էլիտար խմիչքների դասին: Հանրաճանաչության տեսանկյունից անգամ այնպիսի հայտնի խմիչքներ, ինչպես սկոչը, ռոմը և կոնյակը, զիջում են բուրբոնին...
