Մեկնարկել են «Թովմասյան» հիմնադրամի նախաձեռնած Հավերժության պուրակի կառուցման շինարարական աշխատանքները: Այգին հիմնվում է Երեւանից Ապարան տանող ավտոճանապարհին հարակից վայրում` Տառերի պուրակի և Սուրբ խաչի մոտ, որտեղ նաև Թովմասյանների ընտանիքը եկեղեցի է կառուցում:

Հավերժության պուրակում Արցախյան առաջին, Ապրիլյան և Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմներում զոհվածների հարազատները կկարողանան իրենց նահատակված հերոսի համար անվանական մեկ պտղատու ծառ տնկել և ամեն տարի բերք ստանալ այդ ծառից: Հատակագծով նախատեսված պուրակը հավերժության սիմվոլի տեսքն ունի, որը կունենա նաև խաչքարերի պուրակ, կահավորված կլինի նստարաններով և ավտոկայանատեղիով: Ցավոք, պատերազմները մեզանից հազարավոր հայորդիների կյանքեր խլեցին, և այս այգու կառուցումը երախտագիտության նշան է՝ հայրենիքին կյանքը նվիրած անմահ հերոսների հանդեպ հարգանքի և ոգեկոչման ևս մեկ ձև:

«Ամեն անգամ Եռաբլուր այցելելիս՝ տեսնում եմ շիրմաքարերի մոտ հեկեկացող մայրերին եւ հասկանում, թե որքան ենք մենք պարտական նրանց։ Այս այգու կառուցումը նախաձեռնել եմ այն մտայնությամբ, որ որդեկորույս մայրերը հնարավորություն ունենան մի ծառ տնկել եւ ամեն տարի բողբոջած տեսնել իրենց որդու անվանական ծառը, ինչպես նաեւ բերք ստանան եւ գիտակցեն, որ իրենց հերոսի անունը անմահ է»,-ասում է «Թովմասյան» հիմնադրամի հոգաբարձուների խորհրդի նախագահ Արտակ Թովմասյանը։ Խաղաղության աղավնիներ բաց թողնելով դեպի երկինք՝ Թովմասյանների ընտանիքը հույս ու երազանք է փայփայում, որ սիրո, հավատի, մաքրության խորհրդանիշ աղավնիները մեր երկրին խաղաղություն կբերեն:
