Իրանի ճանապարհների և քաղաքային զարգացման նախարար Մոհամադ Էսլամին հայտարարել է, որ Իրանը և Հայաստանը ուղիղ բանակցություններ կանցկացնեն Հյուսիս-հարավ միջանցքի մի մասում հայկական երթուղուց օգտվելու համար:

ԻՆչպես տեղեկացնում է Mehr գործակալությունը, այս մասին Էսլամին հայտարարել է Իմամ Խոմեյնիի միջազգային օդանավակայանում երկուշաբթի՝ Հայաստան կատարելիք իր ուղևորությունից առաջ:

Անդրադառնալով կառավարության կողմից ձեռնարկված ջանքերին և միջոցառումներին`այլ երկրների հետ առևտուր և գործարար կապեր զարգացնելու ուղղությամբ, Ճանապարհների և քաղաքային զարգացման նախարարը նշել է, որ Իրանի կարևոր ռազմավարություններից է աշխարհի և հատկապես հարևան պետությունների հետ լայն և թանկարժեք փոխգործակցության հաստատումը:

Էսլամին, անդրադառնալով Հայաստան իր այցին, ասել է. «Ըստ նախատեսված ծրագրի, այս այցի ընթացքում Իրանի և Հայաստանի պաշտոնատար անձինք երկկողմ բանակցություններ կանցկացնեն համապատասխան հարցերի շուրջ»:

Անդրադառնալով Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետության և Հայաստանի մշակութային կապերին, նա նշել է. «Բացի այն, որ որոշ հայեր ապրում են Իրանում, երկու երկրների միջև գոյություն ունի ազգակցական և մշակութային կապ, այնպես որ, պետք է դյուրացվի ժողովուրդների և երկրների միջև մշակութային փոխգործակցությունը և երկու երկրների միջև պետք է ստեղծվեն ավելի ուժեղ ենթակառուցվածքներ՝ բեռնափոխադրումների և ուղևորափոխանակությունների ընդլայնման համար»:

Հյուսիս-հարավ միջանցքի մի մասի համար հայկական երթուղու օգտագործումը հիմնական խնդիրներից մեկն է, որը կքննարկվի Իրանի և Հայաստանի պաշտոնատար անձանց միջև այս այցի ընթացքում, ասել է նա`ավելացնելով, որ այս այցը դրական ազդեցություն կունենա նաև մշակութային, սոցիալական և տնտեսական ոլորտների վրա:
