Ара Айвазян обсудил с иранским послом вопросы безопасности в регионе

И.о. главы МИД Армении Ара Айвазян в понедельник встретился с послом Ирана в Ереване Аббасом Бадахшаном Захури. Ключевыми темами обсуждения стали вопросы мира и безопасности в регионе.

Как сообщает пресс-служба внешнеполитического ведомства Армении, стороны поговорили о ситуации в приграничных районах республики, возникшей в результате провокационных действий Азербайджана.

Айвазян подчеркнул необходимость немедленного и безоговорочного вывода военнослужащих ВС Азербайджана с территории Республики Армения.

Состоялся обмен мнениями по ряду вопросов армяно-иранской повестки, особое внимание было уделено ходу реализации договоренностей, достигнутых в ходе визитов высокопоставленных делегаций обеих стран.

Азербайджанские военные с 12 мая находятся в районе Черного озера (Сев лич) в Сюникской области Армении, пытаясь закрепиться здесь за счет армянских территорий. Аналогичная ситуация сложилась в направлении села Кут Гегаркуникской области.

За это время состоялось несколько раундов переговоров при посредничестве российской стороны. Противник покинул часть территории, однако полностью пока не спешит уходить. Армения обратилась в ОДКБ и попросила Россию о военной помощи. Армянские военные в то же время взяли под полный контроль пути снабжения азербайджанских войск. Военно-политическое руководство заявляет, что хочет решить проблему мирным путем, но готова задействовать и силовой вариант, если переговоры не приведут к успеху.
