Վարուժան Գեղամյանը տելեգրամյան իր ալիքում գրում է․ «Իսկ սա Տավուշի, Սյունիքի և Արարատի մարզերից թուրքերին հանձնվելիք տարածքների համար անհրաժեշտ հիմնավորումն է Հայաստանի թուրքամետ կապիտուլյանտ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանից, որը խոստովանեց իր անելիքը.

«Մենք էլ ունենք Սովետական Ադրբեջանին պատկանած տարածքներ, որոնք գտնվում են մեր ԶՈՒ վերահսկողության ներքո։ Ավելին՝ դեռեւս 90-ականներից կան Ադրբեջանի ԶՈՒ մարտական դիրքեր, որոնք գտնվում են Սովետական Հայաստանի տարածքում»:

Հենց այս հիմնավորմամբ շուտով` մի քանի շաբաթից Ադրբեջանին կմիացվեն մի շարք հայկական գյուղեր, իսկ դրա դիմաց Ադրբեջանը ոչ մի հող չի տա, այլ ուղղակի, օրինակ, մի քանի ամիս չի կրակի մեր գյուղերի վրա, իսկ հետո նոր ճնշում կգործադրի ու հերթական հիմնավորմամբ մեզանից կպոկի նոր տարածքներ:
