Պատմաբան, քաղաքագիտության դոկտոր Արմեն Այվազյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.

«Քիչ առաջ ՀՀ ԱԺ-ում Փաշինյանը կարդաց իր խառնակ և ամենահանձնվողական ճառերից մեկը։ Ըստ էության, նա հարցականի տակ դրեց թուրք ոսոխի դեմ հայկական դիմադրության և ինքնապաշտպանության նպատակահարմարությունը։ Նրանից հետո ելույթ ունեցած մի իմքայլական էլ երկրորդում էր շեֆին՝ շարունակ վախեցնելով Հայաստանի բնակչությանը մեծ պատերազմով, որն, ըստ սրանց, կարող է ծագել այն դեպքում, եթե մենք դիմենք ինքնապաշտպանության։ Խելքի՛ աշեցեք...
Կապիտուլյանտները հիմա էլ հույսը դրել են ՀՀ սահմանների «դեմարկացիայի և դելիմիտացիայի» վրա։ Իբր դրանից հետո վերջապես սկիզբ կառնի հայ ժողովրդի «խաղաղ զարգացման դարաշրջանը» (ինչպես քանիցս այսօր բարբաջեցին Փաշինյանն ու նրա մանկլավիկները)։
Ուրեմն, ասեմ, իմացե՛ք, անմեղսունակնե՛ր, որ թուրք-ադրբեջանական ցեղասպանները թքած ունեն ինչպես չդեմարկացված, այնպես էլ դեմարկացված սահմանների վրա։ Վկա՝ Կիպրոսի, Սիրիայի, Իրաքի և Հունաստանի ԴԵՄԱՐԿԱՑՎԱԾ սահմանները։ Թուրքը հաշվի է նստելու միայն ու միայն ՄԵՐ դիմադրական ներուժի հետ։ Վերջակետ։
Փաշինյանը հաստատեց, որ քննարկման առարկա է համարում նաև խորհրդային շրջանի «անկլավների» հարցը, ասել կուզի՝ Տիգրանաշենը (Քյարքի) ու Տավուշի մի քանի գյուղերն Ադրբեջանին հանձնելու հարցերը։ Թե ինչպիսի կործանարար ռազմավարական հետևանքներ կարող է ունենալ այդ գործընթացը (մասնավորապես, Սյունիքը Երևանից կտրելու թուրքերի ծրագրերում), կարծում եմ, պարզ պետք է լինի բոլորին։ Իսկ դրանց դիմաց Արծվաշենը հետ ստանալու նրա ակնարկները պարզապես թոզ փչոցի են։
Չպետք է թույլ տալ, որ սրանք իրենց կեղծ խաղաղասիրությամբ, ստերով ու մանիպուլյացիաներով վերջնականապես մարեն մեր բանակի ու ժողովրդի դիմադրական ոգին։ Այլապես գալու է ՎԵՐՋԸ»։
