Բյուրականի աստղադիտարանը  նախատեսում է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի արժեքների կենտրոն ստեղծել:

Այս մասին մայիսի 19-ին լրագրողների հետ հանդիպմանն ասաց աստղադիտարանի տնօրեն Արեգ Միքայելյանը:

Նա հիշեցրեց, որ ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ի «Աշխարհի հիշողություն» ծրագրի միջազգային ռեգիստրում (Memory of the World International Register) գրանցվել է աշխարհահռչակ աստղագետ Բենիամին Մարգարյանի իրականացրած բյուրականյան սպեկտրային շրջահայությունը:

«Այդ շրջահայության լուսանկարչական թիթեղներն իրենց տեղեկատվությամբ այնպիսի մեծ արժեք են ներկայացնում, այնքան եզակի են, որ ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ն ընդունեց մեր հայտը: Սա Հայաստանից միակ գիտական արժեքն է ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ում: Պարզվում է՝ աշխարհում այնքան էլ շատ չեն գիտության այն արժեքները, որոնք ընդգրկվել են միջազգային կառույցի ցանկերում»,- ընդգծեց Միքայելյանը:

Տնօրենի համոզմամբ՝ մենք կարող ենք ՅՈՒՆԵՍԿՕ-ում հարյուր և ավելի նախագծեր ունենալ, եթե աշխատենք այդ ուղղությամբ: «Մի բան է այն, ինչ կա, այլ բան է, թե ինչպես ես ներկայացնում: Նախագիծ է պետք: Օրինակ՝ աստղագիտության ոլորտում կարող էինք ժայռապատկերները ներկայացնել, որոնք եզակի արժեքներ են,  մեր օրացույցը և այլն»,-նշեց Արեգ Միքայելյանը:

Նա խոսեց նաև միջազգային ճանաչում ունեցող գիտնականների հետ համագործակցության մասին՝ հավելելով, որ վերջին շրջանում օտարազգի գործընկերներին հրավիրում են մասնակցելու աստղադիտարանի ներքին սեմինարներին:

«Երկու շաբաթ առաջ սեմինարին մասնակցել է Նոբելյան մրցանակակիր աստղաֆիզիկոս Ռայնհարդ Գենցելը, մեկ այլ Նոբելյան մրցանակակիր արդեն գրանցվել է և ելույթ կունենա հունիսին, ելույթ կունենան նաև Եվրոպական հարավային աստղադիտարանի գլխավոր տնօրեն Քսավիե Բարկոնսը, այլ հայտնի գիտնականներ»,- ասաց Միքայելյանն ու հավելեց, որ շատ են ցանկանում Աստղագիտության թանգարան հիմնադրել, սակայն դրա համար ֆինանսական լուրջ միջոցներ են հարկավոր, որոնք  այս պահին չկան:
