«Ժողովուրդ» թերթը գրում է. «Սյունիքի ու Գեղարքունիքի մարզերի ուղղություններով ադրբեջանական ներխուժումից հետո մեկնարկած բանակցություններն այսօր կշարունակվեն: Արցախի Հանրապետության նախագահի հատուկ հանձնարարությունների գծով նախկին ներկայացուցիչ Բորիս Ավագյանը «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում ընդգծեց, որ բանակցությունների համար ամենալավ ժամանակը հայկական կողմը կորցրել է: «Մենք պետք է հենց առաջին օրն անպայման կա՛մ ձերբակալեինք, կա՛մ գերեվարեինք, կա՛մ ոչնչացնեինք այն անձանց, որոնք համարձակվել են հատել ՀՀ պետական սահմանը: Եթե մենք թույլ ենք տալիս, որ այն անձինք, որոնք հատել են պետական սահմանը, նույն օրը չձերբակալվեն, ապա վտանգում ենք մեր սեփականությունը», – նշեց նա:

Բորիս Ավագյանի խոսքով՝ Դատախազությունը պետք է տա շատ հարցերի պատասխաններ: «Սա պետք է քննել այն քրեական գործի շրջանակներում, որը հարուցվել է Գլխավոր դատախազության կողմից իմ հայտարարությունից հետո, երբ ասացի, որ պետք է հարուցվի քրեական գործ՝ ապօրինի պետական սահմանը հատելու վերաբերյալ», – հավելեց նա:

Դիտարկմանը՝ ինչու են բանակցություններն իրականացվում ռուսական խաղաղապահ ուժերի հրամանատար Ռուստամ Մուրադովի գլխավորությամբ, Բորիս Ավագյանն ընդգծեց. «Ռուստամ Մուրադովը ՌԴ զինվորական օկրուգի հրամանատարի առաջին տեղակալն է: ՌԴ հարավային զինվորական օկրուգը Ռոստովից մինչև Սիրիա է, և 102-րդ ռազմաբազան էլ է մտնում այդ օկրուգի մեջ: Նա՝ որպես խաղաղապահ ուժերի ղեկավար, գործուղված է եղել վեց ամսով, հիմա նրա գործուղումը երկարացրել են, սակայն նա նաև պաշտոն ունի: Քանի որ նրա ղեկավարը եկել էր Հայաստան, բանակցել նախարարի հետ, դրանից հետո Մուրադովին հանձնարարություն էր տրվել այդ հարցով որպես միջնորդ ռուսական կողմը ներկայացնի հենց գեներալ Մուրադովը»:
