Ադրբեջանական հրոսակների ներխուժումը Հայաստանի ինքնիշխան տարածք, եւ Սյունիքի գլխին կախված վտանգը Հայաստանում կրկին ներքաղաքական լարվածություն է առաջացրել, քաղաքական ուժերը մեկը մյուսին են մեղադրում անճարակության կամ մեդիատեռորի մեջ, եւ այդ պայմաններում ամենաբարդը պոպուլիզմի բացառումն ու ողջամտության պահպանումն է։ Իրար խառնված իշխանությունները կեղծ լուրեր են տարածում, իբր ոչ մի խնդիր էր չկա, հանրության մի մասն էլ պահանջում է ուժ կիրառել ու ոչնչացնել ադրբեջանցի հրոսակներին։

«Լուսավոր Հայաստան» կուսակցության նախագահ Էդմոն Մարուքյանի կարծիքով Հայաստանի տարածքի ամենանեղ հատվածում իրականացվում է պրովոկացիա։ Ըստ Մարուքյանի` պարզ է, որ Սյունիքի ներխուժած եւ Սեւ լճի մոտ տեղակայված 250 ադրբեջանցիներին ոչնչացնելը բարդ չէ, սակայն դրանից հետո անդառնալի խնդիրներ կարող են առաջանալ։ «Այդ սահմանը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի սահմանը չէ, բոլորիս սահմանն է, ՀՀ սահմանն է, պետք է բոլորով մտածել, թե ոնց ենք այս իրավիճակից դուրս գալիս, ընդ որում՝ խաղաղ»,- ընդգծում է Մարուքյանը։

Նա նշել է, թե Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կողմից ՀԱՊԿ-ին, Ռուսաստանին դիմելը ճիշտ քայլեր են, պետք է հասկանալ՝ ադրբեջանական սպառնալիքի դեմ միայնակ ենք մնալո՞ւ, թե՞ ոչ։ «Երբեւէ չի եղել իրավիճակ, որ մենք փորձենք գործարկել ՀԱՊԿ մեխանիզմները, սա առաջին դեպքն է։ Մենք հետպատերազմյան երկիր ենք, եւ վեց ամիս անց պատերազմից նոր պատերազմ սկսելու որոշումը պիտի վերջինը լինի, երբ բոլոր մեխանիզմները սպառված լինեն»,- ասել է Մարուքյանը, ով իրավիճակը նույնիսկ համեմատել է Կարիբյան ճգնաժամի հետ, ասել, թե ճգնաժամը կարող է լուծվել խաղաղ ճանապարհով, կարող է վերածվել լայն պատերազմի։

«Լուսավոր Հայաստանի» նախագահի կարծիքով Ադրբեջանը Թուրքիայի հետ թեսթ է անում միջազգային անվտանգության համակարգը, Ադրբեջանի արարքը ոչ միայն մարտահրավեր է Հայաստանին, այլեւ ՀԱՊԿ-ին, եղբայրական Ռուսաստանին։ Թեեւ պատերազմից հետո հայկական բանակը բազում խնդիրներ ունի, բայց Մարուքյանի կարծիքով, անհրաժեշտության դեպքում կկրակի։
