ՀՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան Արման Թաթոյանի գլխավորած պատվիրակությունը մեկնել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության Սյունիքի մարզ` սահմանների հետ կապված իրավիճակին տեղում ծանոթանալու, փաստահավաք աշխատանքների և սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքների պաշտպանության նպատակով:

Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանն ի գիտություն միջազգային կառույցների հատուկ արձանագրում է, որ ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի անօրինական առաջխաղացումը դեպի ՀՀ սահմաններից ներս, մասնավորապես՝ Սև լճի տարածք ու այդ տարածքից դեպի քաղաքացիական բնակավայրեր ընկած հատված կոպտորեն խախտում է ՀՀ սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքները, ունի մարդկանց ահաբեկելու նպատակ:

Ադրբեջանական զինվորականների ներկայությունը կոպտորեն խախտում է մարդու իրավունքների միջազգային պահանջները և զրկում է ՀՀ քաղաքացիներին իրենց ընտանիքների եկամտի միակ աղբյուր անասնապահությամբ զբաղվելու, արոտավայրերն օգտագործելու հնարավորությունից, իրական վտանգ է ստեղծում համայնքների բնակիչների համար ոռոգման ու խմելու ջրի հասանելիության, նրանց կյանքի ու անվտանգության համար:

Ադրբեջանական զինված ուժերի նշված անօրինական արարքը ևս մեկ անգամ ապացուցում է անվտանգության գոտի ստեղծելու Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի առաջարկի բացարձակ անհրաժեշտությունը, ինչը հնարավորություն կտա երաշխավորել ՀՀ սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքներն ու խաղաղ կյանքը, ֆիզիկական ու հոգեկան անձեռնմխելիությունը:

Սյունիքի մարզ Պաշտպանի այցի ընթացքում տեղում հատուկ սկզբունքով կիրականացվեն փաստահավաք աշխատանքներ, կձեռնարկվեն ՀՀ սահմանային բնակիչների իրավունքների պաշտպանությանն ուղղված քայլեր:
