Իշխանասար լեռան հյուսիսարևելյան լանջին է Սև լիճը։ Բարձր գագաթից, որը գտնվում է Սև լճի հարավային ճակատում (նշել եմ կարմիրով) դիտարկվում է ամբողջ Գորիս քաղաքը։ Այն ընկած է ՀՀ պետսահմանից ներս, սակայն հավանական է, որ ադրբեջանական կողմը փորձ է արել վերցնել այդ գագաթը՝ ավելի շահեկան մարտական դիրքում հայտնվելու և Գորիսը բարձր դիրքից ուղիղ նշանառության տակ պահելու համար։
Նշածս գագաթից մինչև Գորիս քաղաք ուղիղ գծով մոտ 10 կիլոմետր է։ Ամենաշարքային հաուբիցայից (օր․՝ Դ-20) հնարավոր է դառնում ուղիղ նշանառել հայկական մեծ բնակավայրը։ ԽՍՀՄ պետսահմանով Սև լիճն ամբողջությամբ գտնվել է ՀԽՍՀ սահմաններից ներս, սակայն այժմ, որքանով հասկանում եմ, ադրբեջանական կողմը լիճը կուլ է տվել և քանի որ դիմացի սարը փակում է տեսադաշտը՝ վերջիններս պիտի ներքևից վերև բարձրանային ու հաստատվեին։ Շահեկան դիրք ՀՀ պետսահմանում։
Հուսամ, որ մեր ԶՈՒ-ն և ՌԴ խաղաղապահները թույլ չեն տա թշնամուն մեր լեռներում իրենց լավ զգալ ու հետ կշպրտեն իրենց զբաղեցրած նախկին դիրքեր, եթե վերջիններս առհասարակ առաջ են եկել։
Սյունիքը մեր տան դուռն է, այն շրխկացնել է պետք թշնամու երեսին ու ամուր փակել։
