Սպիտակ տունը դատապարտել է «Համասի» կողմից Իսրայելի հրթիռակոծությունը եւ դեէսկալացիայի կոչ է արել: Սպիտակ տան մամուլի խոսնակ Ջեն Փսակին հայտնել է, որ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենին «ամեն օր» տեղեկացնում են Երուսաղեմում եւ Գազայի հատվածում տեղի ունեցող իրադարձությունների մասին:
«Նախորդ շաբաթվանից նա հանձնարարել է թիմին ակտիվորեն փոխգործակցել Իսրայելի եւ Պեղստինի բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչների հետ, ինչպես նաեւ ամբողջ Մերձավոր Արեւելքի լիդերների հետ: Իր թիմը տալիս է հստակ եւ հետեւողական տեղեկատվություն դեէսկալացիայի մասին եւ դա դա մեր հիմնական նպատակն է»,-ասել է Փսակին:
«Նախագահի կողմից Իսրայելի անվտանգությանը, նրա պաշտպանության օրինական իրավունքին աջակցելը հիմնարար իրավունք է, եւ մենք երբեք չենք հրաժարվի դրանից: Մենք դատապարտում ենք «Համաս»-ի եւ այլ ահակեբչական խմբավորումների կողմից շարունակվող հրթիռակոծությունը, այդ թվում Երուսաղեմի ուղղությամբ: Մենք հանդես ենք գալիս ընդդեմ ծայրահեղականության, որը հանգեցրել է երկու համայնքներում բռնությունների»,-ասել է նա:
Փսակիի խոսքով, Բայդենի վարչակազմը կշարունակի ջանքերը՝ ուղղված դեէսկալացիային:
Նա ընդգծել է, որ Բայդենն աջակցում է երկու պետություն ստեղծելու ճանապարհով իսրայելա-պաղեստինյան հակամարտությունը լուծելու որոշմանը. «Դա միակ միջոցն է ապահովելու համար արդարություն եւ կայուն խաղաղություն, որից երկու ժողովուրդները փորձում են հասնել»:
«Վերջին շաբաթներին ԱՄՆ պաշտոնյաները անկեղծ խոսել են Իսրայելի պաշտոնական անձանց հետ պաղեստիցի ընտանիքներին տեղահանելու մասին, որոնք տարիներով, իսկ երբեմն նաեւ տասնամյակներով ապրել են իրենց տներում, եւ նշել, որ դա հակասում է մեր ընդհանուր շահերին եւ հակամարտության լուծմանը հասնելուն»,-ասել է Փսակին:
