Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.
Հինգ տարի առաջ՝ 2016 թվականի մայիսի 5-ին, Արցախի Հանրապետության Ազգային ժողովի կողմից ընտրվեցի ԱՀ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպան (27՝ կողմ, 2՝ դեմ)։
Առաջարկը ստացել էի ապրիլի կեսերին, երբ Ապրիլյան պատերազմը փաստացի ավարտվել էր, բայց «կիսախաղաղությունը» այնքան փխրուն էր, որ ամեն րոպե կարող էր հօդս ցնդել։ Առաջարկը ստացել էի ապրիլի կեսերին ու կես րոպե մտածելուց հետո համաձայնվել էի։ Մեկ հեռախոսային խոսակցություն, ու կյանքս գլխիվայր շրջվել էր - Երևանում մնաց ընտանիքս, 1 ու 3 տարեկան երեխաներս, սիրելի ու հաճելի աշխատանքս։ Երևանում մնացին նաև շատ պատրանքներ։
Սկզբից ինձ առանձնապես հարազատ չէի զգում Շուշիում (որտեղ գրասենյակս էր) ու Ստեփանակերտում (որտեղ ծառայողական բնակարանն էր): Բայց կամաց-կամաց մարդիկ դադարեցին ինձ «Էրևանից էկած էն ջահելը» համարել ու այդպես մի օր ինձ բռնեցի այն մտքի վրա, որ աշխարհին արդեն նայում եմ «արցախյան» պատուհանից, իսկ Երևանա-գալստուկա-սրճարանային անցյալս քամահրանքով եմ հիշում։
Լավ թե վատ՝ աշխատեցի երկու տարի, աշխատեցի ուժերիս ներածի առավելագույնով, ու եղավ 18-ի անիծյալ «հեղափոխությունը»։ Հասկանում էի, թե ինչ արհավիրք են մեր գլխին բերելու «Երևանա-գալստուկա-սրճարանային» ջահելները։ Ցավոք, հասկանում էի։ Ու որոշեցի վերադառնալ Երևան ու փորձել ինչ-որ բան անել։
Վերադարձա հոկտեմբերին՝ արտահերթ ընտրություններից առաջ։ Շատ լրագրողներ ու ծանոթ նիկոլականներ վստահ էին, որ եկել եմ ընտրություններին մասնակցելու ու «ցուցակ մտնելու»։ Բայց իհարկե սխալվում էին։ Դա՛ չէր իմ ուղին։
… Այն ինչ տեղի ունեցավ 2020-ի աշնանը, անձամբ ինձ համար նման էր հազար անգամ երազում տեսած մղձավանջի իրականացմանը։ Կանխել գերագույն ստահակի բերած աղետը չկարողացանք։
Չկարողացանք նաև այն պատճառով, որ արցախահայերը չընդդիմացան այդ գոռոզ պատեհապաշտներին։ Ու այդ փաստը ինձ ահավոր ցավացնում է։ Ես այլևս չէի ճանաչում ինձ Երևանա-գալստուկա-սրճարանային կեղծ ինտելեկտուալից հողին կպած մարդ դարձրած իմ սիրելի լեռնեցիներին…
Ահա այսպիսի մտորումներ 5 տարի անց։ Դժբախտ ու դժգույն Երևանում։
