Աշոտ Ղուլյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Այս օրերին հաճախ կարելի է լսել. «Իսկ ի՞նչ է մեզ տալու ԱՄՆ կողմից ցեղասպանության ճանաչումը»: Կարելի է հասկանալ համընդհանուր ապատիայի ֆոնին այսպիսի հարցադրումների տարածվածության հիմքերը, բայց այդքանով հանդերձ դրանք շատ վնասակար են ու նույնիսկ վտանգավոր և ահա թե ինչու.

1.1915թ. և հաջորդ տարիներին տեղի ունեցած ողբերգական իրադարձությունների հետևանքով տասնյակ հազարավոր հայեր, որ մի կերպ փրկվել ու մազապուրծ հասել են տարբեր երկրներ, նպատակ են դրել, իսկ ավելի ստույգ՝ ուխտ են արել իրենց հարազատներին խոշտանգած ու ոչնչացրած ոճրագործներին պատմության դատաստանի առաջ կանգնեցնելու մասին: Եվ այդ նպատակին իրենց հնարավորությունները, ջանքերը և նույնիսկ կյանքն են նվիրել 4-5 սերունդներ, նույն հայերի ժառանգները: ԱՄՆ-ում ապրող բազմաթիվ հայ ընտանիքների համար (ճանաչում և հանդիպել եմ այդպիսի տասնյակ ընտանիքների) այդ նպատակին հասնելը պատվի ու արժանապատվության հարց էր: Այս դեպքում տեղին կլինի ասել՝ բոլորիդ վարձքը կատար:

2.Ինչքան էլ փորձեն այդ գնահատականը նսեմացնող տերմիններ օգտագործել, միևնույն է, Թուրքիայում պարզորոշ հասկանում են, որ այդ խարանն արդեն ամբողջական պատկերով դաջված է նրանց կերպարի վրա (բնական է, որ խոսքը ցեղասպանությունը մերժող հատվածի մասին է): Չմոռանանք, որ ժամանակակից Ռուսաստանի Դաշնությունն այդ իրողությունը ճանաչել է դեռ 1995թ., իսկ Ֆրանսիան օրինակ է տալիս եվրոպական մի շարք երկրների ցեղասպանության ժխտումը քրեականացնելու հարցով: Այս արձանագրումը կարևոր է, քանի որ հաջորդիվ Միացյալ նահանգների քաղաքական առաջնորդությունն ընդունող երկրներում նույն այդ գործընթացի շարունակություն է սպասվում, իսկ մյուս բևեռում (կամ բևեռներում) վաղուց ֆիքսված է իրերի ճիշտ դրությունը:

3.Եվ վերջապես. 106 տարի պայքարել և հասնել նպատակին՝ սա տիպական օրինակ է, թե ինչպես են առաջադրվում, հետապնդվում և, ի հեճուկս բոլոր հընթացս առաջացող խնդիրների, հանգուցալուծվում համազգային նշանակության նպատակները: Բացի պայքարի երկարատև ժամանակահատվածից` ամեն ինչ ընդօրինակելի է:
