Заразен ли пациент с положительным ПЦР-тестом после карантина?

Человек с положительным ПЦР-тестом после выздоровления и самоизоляции не представляет опасности для окружающих. Об этом свидетельствует крупное исследование, проведенное среди баскетболистов Национальной баскетбольной ассоциации (НБА).
Как сообщает Medportal.ru, для безопасного завершения сезона 2019/2020 во время пандемии НБА создала специальный закрытый кампус в Орландо, где игроки находились под наблюдением специалистов, ежедневно сдавали тесты и соблюдали все меры предосторожности. В новое исследование включены данные о 3648 спортсменах, проживавших на территории кампуса.
Если у кого-то из игроков выявлялась инфекция, его помещали в изоляцию. Центры по контролю и профилактике заболеваний США (СDC) рекомендуют выдерживать карантин в течение 10 дней при отсутствии симптомов заболевания. У 36 человек (1%) результат ПЦР-теста был положительным даже после изоляции, при том что все они переносили инфекцию бессимптомно. Один спортсмен выделял SARS-Cov-2 более 100 дней.
Наблюдения за этими игроками показали, что ни один из них не передал инфекцию другим спортсменам после выхода из карантина, хотя они постоянно контактировали с другими баскетболистами, в том числе без масок.
