Կյանքից հեռացել է անվանի գիտնական Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը
CULTUREԱյսօր՝ ապրիլի 26-ին, կյանքից հեռացել է երկրաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր, անվանի գիտնական Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը։
Հոգեհանգստի արարողությունը կկայանա վաղը՝ ապրիլի 27-ին, ժամը 18.00-ին՝ «Էրեբունի» սգո սրահում (հասցե՝ Խաղաղ Դոնի փողոց 2/14), հուղարկավարությունը տեղի կունենա ապրիլի 28-ին, ժամը 14.00-ին՝ նույն վայրից։
Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը ծնվել է 1929թ. ապրիլի 4-ին։ 1938թ. գերազանցությամբ ավարտել է Մայակովսկու անվան դպրոցն ու Երեւանի պետական համալսարանը՝ դառնալով Հայկական ԽՍՀ Գիտությունների ազգային ակադեմիայի ասպիրանտ։
1958թ. Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը պաշտպանել է թեկնածուական ատենախոսություն՝ միներալոգիական թեմայով, իսկ 1974-ին ստացել երկրաբանական գիտությունների դոկտորի գիտական աստիճան։
Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը հեղինակել է ավելի քան 80 գիտական հոդվածներ, եղել է մեկ մենագրության հեղինակ եւ երեք գրքերի համահեղինակ։ Նրա գիտական վաստակը մեծ գնահատանքի է արժանացել ոչ միայն Հայաստանում եւ Խորհրդային Միության, այլեւ աշխարհի բազում երկրներում։
Տիկին Սաղաթելյանի գիտական գործունեությունը դեռեւս 70-ական թվականներից լայն լուսաբանվել է միջազգային մամուլում եւ հատկապես գիտական պարբերականներում։ Իսկ 1978թ. Քեմբրիջի համալսարանի «Ով ով է։ Աշխարհի կանայք» կենսագրական բառարանում հրապարակվել է նաեւ հայազգի գիտնականի կենսագրությունը։
Էմմա Սաղաթելյանի ղեկավարած գիտական խումբն աչքի է ընկել Երկրի էներգոակտիվ ցանցավոր կառույցների (Հարթմանի ցանց) երկրաբանական եւ երկրատիեզերական նշանակության բացահայտմամբ։ Նշանավոր հայ գիտնականի համաշխարհային ճանաչում ստացած երկրորդ աշխատությունը Սպիտակի երկրաշարժի նյութի հիման վրա ռադիացիոն վտանգի սեյսմիկ գործոնի ուսումնասիրությունն էր։ Իսկ մինչ այդ՝ դեռեւս 1964 թվականին, Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը առաջ է բերել Հայաստանի հրաքարային (պիրիտային) հանքավայրերի ձեւավորման նոր կոնցեպտը, որը սկզբում մերժվել է խորհրդային գիտնականների կողմից, բայց տասը տարի անց՝ Սվերդլովսկում կայացած համամիութենական գիտաժողովի ժամանակ հաստատվել։ Էմմա Սաղաթելյանի դոկտորական ատենախոսության («Հայաստանի պիրիտային հանքավայրերի ձեւավորման պայմանները») մեծ մասը այնուհետեւ տեղ է գտել «ԽՍՀՄ պիրիտային հանքավայրերը» գրքում։
Էմմա Սաղաթելյանը երկար տարիներ ղեկավարել է Հայաստանի պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի Լեռնային ֆակուլտետի Միներալոգիայի ամբիոնը։ Մանկավարժական գործունեության մի քանի տասնամյակների ընթացքում նա կրթել է երկրաբան գիտնականների մի քանի սերունդներ։
Լուսահոգի գիտնականը պարգեւատրվել է «Անանիա Շիրակացի» մեդալով եւ Հայաստանի ազգային պոլիտեխնիկական համալսարանի 75-ամյակի հուշամեդալով։
