INTERNATIONAL NEWSՀայաստանի մեծ բարեկամ, Մեծ Բրիտանիայի Լորդերի պալատի անդամ եւ նախկին փոխխոսնակ Քերոլայն Քոքսն ապրիլի 24-ին ԱԺ պատգամավոր Հռիփսիմե Գրիգորյանի ուղեկցությամբ այցելել է Ծիծեռնակաբերդի հուշահամալիր: Այս մասին հայտնեցին ՀՀ ԱԺ լրատվության և հաղորդակցության վարչությունից:
Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հիշատակը հավերժացնող անմար կրակի մոտ ծաղիկներ դնելուց հետո Քերոլայն Քոքսը դիմել է ուղերձով:
«Նախ շնորհակալություն եմ հայտնում Հայաստանի եւ Արցախի ժողովրդին, որովհետեւ դուք գտնվում եք հավատքի ու ազատության պայքարի ճակատում եւ շատ ծանր կորուստներ եք ունեցել դրա պատճառով:
Ես այստեղ եմ եկել զայրույթով, որովհետեւ մենք մեծ ճնշում ենք գործադրում, որ Միացյալ Թագավորության կառավարությունը ճանաչի Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը: Կարող եմ ասել, որ Մեծ Բրիտանիայի կազմի մեջ գտնվող պետություններից մեկը՝ Ուելսը, ճանաչել է այն: Ուելսի մայրաքաղաք Քարդիֆում կա դրան նվիրված արձան, սակայն Միացյալ Թագավորությունը չի ճանաչել դեռ, եւ մենք պայքարում ենք դրա համար: Մենք պետք է ճանաչենք նաեւ ցեղասպանության փորձը, որը արվեց 91-94 թթ-ին եւ 2020թ-ին: Ադրբեջանի ու Թուրքիայի վերջին գործողությունները համապատասխանում են ցեղասպանության բոլոր չափանիշներին:
Իմ երրորդ ու վերջին ուղերձը սերն է: Ես ու շատ շատերն Անգլիայում սիրում ենք Հայաստանն ու Արցախը: Այս փոքր տարածքը տվել է շատ ակնառու գործիչներ: Ես այստեղ եմ նախ հիացմունքի, ապա՝ զայրույթի ու սիրո զգացումներով: Սա է իմ ուղերձը ձեր գեղեցիկ երկրին»,- եզրափակել է Քերոլայն Քոքսը:
