INTERNATIONAL NEWSԲաքուն հուսով է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն 1915 թ. Օսմանյան կայսրությունում տեղի ունեցած իրադարձությունները հայերի ցեղասպանություն չի ճանաչի, հակառակ դեպքում ադրբեջանական կողմը կդատապարտի այս քայլը: Ինչպես հայտնում է ՌԻԱ-Նովոստին, այս մասին հայտարարել է Ադրբեջանի նախագահի օգնական Հիքմեթ Հաջիևը:
Ավելի վաղ Wall Street Journal-ը, հղում անելով ամերիկացի պաշտոնատար անձանց, հայտնել էր, որ ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը պատրաստվում է մեկ դար առաջ Օսմանյան կայսրությունում տեղի ունեցած Հայոց ցեղասպանությունը ճանաչել:
«Բոլորին հայտնի է Ադրբեջանի ամուր և միանշանակ դիրքորոշումը հայերի ցեղասպանության վերաբերյալ: Եթե ԱՄՆ նոր վարչակազմը նման քայլ ձեռնարկի, դա կլինի պատմական սխալ»,- ասել է նա:
Հաջիևը նշել է, թե Ադրբեջանը միշտ «դեմ է եղել Հայոց ցեղասպանության ընդունման փորձերին»: Վերջինս դա «պատմության կեղծում» է անվանել, նշել, թե «պատմությունը պետք է ուսումնասիրեն պատմաբանները»:
«Եթե դա տեղի ունենա, Ադրբեջանը վճռականորեն կդատապարտի: Նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևը մեկ անգամ չէ, որ հայտարարել է՝ Թուրքիայի դեմ ուղղված քայլն ուղղված է Ադրբեջանի դեմ, իսկ Ադրբեջանի դեմ ցանկացած քայլ Թուրքիայի դեմ է»,- ասել է Հաջիևը:
