Հնդկաստանը 24 ժամում արձանագրել է կորոնավիրուսով վարակման 332 730 նոր դեպք, ինչը դարձել է վարակվածների օրական աճի անընդմեջ երկրորդ համաշխարային հակառեկորդը: Հնդկաստանի առողջապահության և ընտանիքի բարեկեցության նախարարությունն ապրիլի 23-ին հայտնել է, որ համավարակի ամբողջ ժամանակամիջոցում երկրում ախտահարվածների թիվը հասել է 16 263 695-ի, տեղեկացնում Է «Արմենպրես»-ը:

Վարակվածների ընդհանուր թիվն այժմ Հնդկաստանում աճում է չորս օրում շուրջ մեկ միլիոն մարդ արագությամբ. այն մասին, որ երկիրը հատել է 15-միլիոներորդ վարակվածի սահմանագիծը, հայտարարվել է ապրիլի 19-ին, իսկ 14 միլիոն ախտահարվածի մասին՝ ապրիլի 15-ին: Ըստ որում 13-միլիոներորդ սահմանագծի հաղթահարման մասին Հնդկաստանի առողջապահության նախարարությունը հայտնել է ապրիլի 9-ին, այն ժամանակ հաջորդ միլիոնի համար պահանջվել է վեց օր:

Հնդկաստանն աշխարհի առաջատար Է դարձել մեկ օրում հիվանդացածների թվով: Երկիրն արդեն այդ ցուցանիշով առաջատր էր անցյալ տարվա սեպտեմբերին, երբ նշվել է ախտահարման ավելի քան 90 հազար դեպք` 24 ժամում: Այժմ այդ ցուցանիշն զգալիորեն մեծացել է. երկրորդ օրը շարունակ Հնդկաստանում նշում են 300 հազարից ավելի վարակվածներ (ապրիլի 22-ին հայտնաբերվել է 314 835 դեպք), և արդեն երկրորդ անգամ անընդմեջ դա համաշխարհային հակառեկորդ է:

Կորոնավիրուսային վարակի հետ կապված մահացու դեպքերի թիվը 24 ժամում աճել է 2 263-ով և կազմել 186 020: Միևնույն ժամանակ ապաքինվածների թիվը մեկ օրում ավելացել է 193 279-ով և հասել 13 648 159-ի: Բուժման մեջ է գտնվում 2 428 616 կորոնավիրուսով հիվանդ, ինչը 137 188-ով ավելի է, քան մեկ օր առաջ:

Հնդկաստանում վերջին 24 ժամում կորոնավիրուսային վարակի դեմ պատվաստում է արվել 3 147 782 մարդու, պատվաստված քաղաքացիների ընդհանուր թիվը կազմել Է 135 478 420:
