ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Լլոյդ Օսթինը դեմ է արտահայտվել Բայդենի՝ Աֆղանստանից ամերիկյան զորքերի դուրսբերման մասին որոշմանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է The Wall Street Journal-ը՝ վկայակոչելով իր աղբյուրները:
Աղբյուրների հաղորդմամբ՝ Պենտագոնի ղեկավարը Բայդենին զեկուցել է, որ ամերիկացի մի քանի զորահրամանատարներ մտահոգություն են հայտնել Աֆղանստանից ամերիկյան զորքերը դուրս բերելու Սպիտակ տան ծրագրերի կապակցությամբ: Նրանց թվում, պարբերականի տվյալներով, եղել են ԱՄՆ-ի զինված ուժերի շտաբների պետերի կոմիտեի նախագահ, գեներալ Մարկ Միլլին, ԱՄՆ-ի զինված ուժերի կենտրոնական հրամանատարության ղեկավար, գեներալ Քենեթ Ֆրանկլին ՄակՔենզին և Աֆղանստանում ԱՄՆ-ի և ՆԱՏՕ-ի ուժերի հրամանատար, գեներալ Սքոթ Միլերը։
Օսթինն, իր հերթին, Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարին զգուշացրել է, որ Աֆղանստանից ամերիկյան զինված ուժերի դուրսբերմամբ կխարխլվի երկրում հաստատված փխրուն կայունությունը։
Այնուհանդերձ, հակառակ զորահրամանատարների հորդորներին՝ Բայդենն ամերիկյան զորքերն Աֆղանստանից դուրս բերելու որոշում է կայացրել՝ պնդելով, որ դա կօգնի խուսափել Աֆղանստանում ռազմական գործողությունների վերսկսումից:
Ինչպես ավելի վաղ տեղեկացրել էր Tert.am-ը, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենն օրերս հայտնել էր ամերիկյան զորքերն Աֆղանստանից դուրս բերելու որոշման մասին, քանի որ ցանկանում է վերջ դնել Աֆղանստանում ամերիկյան զորքերի 20 տարվա ներգրավվածությանը:
«Ես ԱՄՆ-ի չորրորդ նախագահն եմ, ում ղեկավարության օրոք ամերիկյան զորքերը գտնվում են Աֆղանստանում։ Երկու հանրապետականներ և երկու դեմոկրատներ։ Ես այս պատասխանատվությունը չեմ փոխանցի հինգերորդ նախագահին ․․․ Ժամանակն է վերջ դնել Ամերիկայի ամենաերկարատև պատերազմին։ Ժամանակն է, որ ամերիկյան զորքերը տուն գան»,- ասել էր Բայդենը։
Սպիտակ տան ղեկավարի խոսքով՝ ԱՄՆ-ի և Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքի (ՆԱՏՕ) 10 հազար զինվորականներն Աֆղանստանից կվերադառնան մինչև սեպտեմբերի 11-ը, երբ ԱՄՆ-ում հիշատակեն Նյու Յորքում տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչական հարձակման 20–րդ տարելիցը։
Հիշեցնենք՝ Աֆղանստանում գտնվող 2500 ամերիկացի զինվորականները, ՆԱՏՕ-ի դաշնակից երկրների 7000 զինվորականները, այդ թվում՝ 750-ը Մեծ Բրիտանիայից, աստիճանաբար Աֆղանստանից դուրս կգան մայիսի 1-ից մինչև սեպտեմբերի 11-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածում: Դուրսբերումը կընթանա դաշնակիցների և գործընկերների հետ լիարժեք համաձայնեցմամբ:
