Scientists find hot spots in brain that may indicate cancer
LIFEBritish scientists have discovered hotspots in the brain that may indicate signs of cancer, a new study said.
The authors of the study found that there are specific clusters of cells around the blood vessels that determine the places where tumors can be malignant, Neuro-Oncology Advances reported.
Scientists noted that it is these areas that can be breeding grounds for malignant progression, that is, the process due to which the tumor grows rapidly and uncontrollably.
This study is important because the data obtained in its course may make it more likely to determine when a brain tumor becomes malignant.
