«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է․ «Երեկ խորհրդարանում ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը ներկայացրեց կառավարության 2020 թվականի գործունեության հաշվետվությունը, բայց ավելի շատ ինքնապաշտպանական քարոզչական ելույթ էր, որից հետո պատասխանեց նաեւ պատգամավորների հարցերին եւ մի քանի ուշագրավ հայտարարություններով հանդես եկավ: Վարչապետը մանրամասն պատմեց արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի ընթացքում տեղի ունեցած դեպքերի մասին, եւ հենց այդտեղ էլ թաքնված էին վրիպակները: Ընդ որում, նկատենք՝ Փաշինյանը ելույթ ունենալիս օգտվում էր թերթիկից, այսինքն՝ ելույթի տեքստը գրված էր նախապես, բայց դա չխանգարեց, որ, օրինակ, իր խոսքում նա ասի «Ֆրանսիայի նախագահ Պուտին», «2021 թվականի 44-օրյա պատերազմ» եւ այլն: Իհարկե, Փաշինյանը վրիպակներից հետո փորձում էր իրեն ուղղել: Փաշինյանի մեկ այլ հայտարարություն եւս հետաքրքիր էր: Խոսքը այն հայտարարության մասին է, որտեղ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը «Ադրբեջանի տարածքներ» անվանեց Արցախի ազատագրված շրջանները՝ ասելով, որ հոկտեմբերի 19-ին պատրաստ է եղել վերադարձնել դրանք: «Ես զանգահարել եմ ՌԴ նախագահին եւ ասել եմ, որ մենք հրադադար ենք ուզում՝ Ադրբեջանի տարածքները վերադարձնել՝ 5+2 ձեւաչափի պայմանով»,-ասաց նա: Այստեղ հարց է առաջանում՝ ՀՀ վարչապետն իսկապե՞ս այդպես է մտածում, այդ տարածքները Ադրբեջանի՞նն է համարում, թե՞, այսպես ասած, խոսքի սայթաքում էր: Ապա արդարացնելով սեփական ձախողումը՝ նա հերթական անգամ ԱԺ ամբիոնից հորինած պատմություն պատմեց՝ ասելով. «Կարո՞ղ է զանգել ասել են՝ տանկերը քշեք Երեւան, ձեր թշամին հրապարակում է»:

Նշենք, որ նմանօրինակ կեղծիքի տարածումը նա իրականացրել է անգամ պատերազմի ժամանակ՝ գրելով, թե օդում կախված տեղեկություններ ունի, իբր, ընդդիմադիրներից ոմանք զորքին հորդորել են չկռվել, մինչդեռ ԱԱԾ-ն հայտնեց, որ նման բան չի եղել: Փաշինյանը նաեւ անդրադարձավ Զինված ուժերի գլխավոր շտաբի նախկին պետ Օնիկ Գասպարյանի հետ կապված իրավիճակին եւ արեց մի հայտարարություն, որը Գասպարյանն ArmLur.am-ի հետ զրույցում հերքեց: Մասնավորապես, ըստ Փաշինյանի՝ նիստին ԶՈՒ ԳՇ պետը ասել է՝ հակառակորդը առաջխաղացում չունի, բանակը կատարում է իր խնդիրը եւ մինչեւ վերջ կկատարի։ «Չի ասել Գլխավոր շտաբի պետը նման բան։ Դա արձանագրված է պաշտոնապես, այդ թվում ձայնագրությամբ է արձանագրված»։ Նա ավելի ուշ, պատասխանելով նաեւ «Լուսավոր Հայաստան» խմբակցության ղեկավար Էդմոն Մարուքյանի հարցին, ասաց անգամ, թե կարող են համապատասխան ձայնագրություն հրապարակել: Ավելի ուշ Օնիկ Գասպարյանը ArmLur.am-ի հետ զրույցում հայտարարեց՝ վերահաստատում է նախկինում արած իր հայտարարությունը, իսկ Փաշինյանին մեղադրել է իրականությունը խեղաթյուրելու եւ իշխանական լծակները օգտագործելով հանրությանը մոլորության մեջ գցելու համար»։
