ECONOMICSՄիացյալ Նահանգների նախագահ Ջո Բայդենն առաջարկել է «ձևափոխել» ԱՄՆ-ի`աշխարհում խոշորագույնը համարվող տնտեսությունը, ներդնելով Հանրապետականների քննադատությանն արժանացած ծրագիրը, որը ենթադրում է ենթակառուցվածքների` ավելի քան 2 տրիլիոն դոլար արժողությամբ ֆինանսավորում:

Բայդենի «Ամերիկյան աշխատանքների ծրագրի» շրջանակում նախատեսվում է միլիոնավոր աշխատատեղեր ստեղծել՝ ենթակառուցվածքների ստեղծման, ծառայությունների և այլ ոլորտներում։
«Սա Ամերիկայում սերնդի համար մեկանգամյա ներդրում է, որը նման չէ այն ամենին, ինչ մենք տեսել և արել ենք նախկինում», - ասել է Բայդենը և հավելել, որ վերջ է տալու խոշոր ձեռնարկությունների կողմից քիչ հարկեր վճարելու պրակտիկային:
Ծրագիրը երկրորդն մեծ ներդրումային ծրագիրն է երկու ամսվա ընթացքում, ինչը բախում կարող է առաջացնել ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսում, քանի որ դեմոկրատջներն ու հանրապետականները տարբեր տեսակետներ ունեն ներդրումների ընդհանուր չափի և ծրագրերի վերաբերյալ։ Մեկ այլ տնտեսական ծրագիրը, որը Բայդենն առաջարկելու է ապրիլի 2-ին, կարող է ևս 2 տրիլիոն դոլար ներդրում պահանջել։
Ինչպես ավելի վաղ տեղեկացրե էր Tert.am-ը, Բայդենն առաջարկել էր շուրջ 1.9 տրիլիոն դոլար հատկացնել երկրում կորոնավիրուսի դեմ պայքարը շարունակելու, ամերիկյան տնտեսությունը խթանելու և բնակչությանը օգնություն ցուցաբերելու նպատակով, ինչը ընդունվել էր Կոնգրեսի կողմից։
Բայդենի թիմը կարծում է, որ տնտեսության ամրապնդմանն ուղղված կառավարության ջանքերը կորոնավիրուսից տուժած տնտեսությանն օժանդակելու և Չինաստանի կողմից աճող մրցակցության և ազգային անվտանգության սպառնալիքի դեմ պայքարելու լավագույն միջոցներն են:
Լրատվականը նշել է, որ Բայդենն առայժմ անտեսում է հարուստ մարդկանց հարկերը բարձրացնելու նախընտրական խոստումը՝ փոխելով կորպորոտիվ հարկի դրույքը 21 տոկոսից 28-ի։ Բայդենը նշել է, որ նպատակը ոչ թե բիզնեսի «թիրախավորումն է», այլ համաճարակի պատճառով սրված անհավասարության վերացումը:
ԱՄՆ Առևտրի պալատի ամենամեծ առևտրային խմբի քաղաքականության պատասխանատու Նիլ Բրեդլին նշել է, որ Բայդենի ծրագիրը «վտանգավորության աստիճան մոլորությնա սահմանում» է:
Նոր ծրագիրը ներառում է 621 միլիարդ դոլար ենթակառուցվածքների, կամուրջների, մայրուղիների և նավահանգիստների վերակառուցման համար, և 174 միլիարդ դոլարի պատմական ներդրում էլեկտրական տրանսպորտային միջոցների շուկայում, որի նպատակը մինչև 2030 թվականը լիցքավորման համացանցային ցանց կառուցելն է: Էկոլոգիապես կայուն տներ կառուցելու և վերակառուցելու համար նախատեսված է 213 միլիարդ դոլար հատկացնել, ինչպես նաև հարյուրավոր միլիարդներ ԱՄՆ արտադրությանը աջակցելու, երկրի էլեկտրական ցանցն ամրապնդելու, հանրապետությունում գերարագ ինտերնետային ցանց ստեղծելու և երկրի խմելու ջրի համակարգերը նորացնելու համար:
Բացի տնտեսական ոլորտում առկա ճգնաժամի ԱՄՆ-ն բախվում է նաև հարավային սահմանային շրջանի ներգաղթյալներիխնդրին։
