ՀՅԴ Եվրոպայի Հայ դատի գրասենյակը (EAFJD) և Բելգիայի Հայերի Կոմիտեն (CAB)  Բելգիայի վարչապետ Ալեքսանդր Դե Կրոոյին հասցեագրված նամակով կոչ են արել դատապարտել ահաբեկչության ցանկացած պետական հովանավորչություն՝ հիշեցնելով, որ Արցախյան 44-օրյա պատերազմի ընթացքում Թուրքիան և Ադրբեջանը վարձկանների են ներգրավել։ Ինչպես «Արմենպրես»-ին հայտնեցին ՀՅԴ Եվրոպայի Հայ դատի գրասենյակից, նամակը Բելգիայի վարչապետին հղվել է ի հիշատակ Բրյուսելում 2016 թ․ տեղի ունեցած ահաբեկչությունների 5-րդ տարելիցի:

«Նամակում Բելգիայի հայ համայնքն իր կարեկցանքն ու համերաշխությունն է հայտնում Բելգիայի կառավարությանը և Բելգիայի քաղաքացիներին, ովքեր դարձան այս ողբերգական իրադարձության զոհը՝ շեշտելով ահաբեկչության դեմ պայքարելու և այդպիսով ազատ, ժողովրդվավար հասարակությունը պաշտպանելու անհրաժեշտության մասին։ Բելգիայի վարչապետին ուղղված նամակում մատնանշվում է, որ Արցախի բնիկ հայ բնակչությունը նույնպես ահաբեկչության զոհ է դարձել 2020-ի սեպտեմբեր-նոյեմբեր պատերազմի ընթացքում ՝ հիշեցնելով պատերազմում Թուրքիայի և Ադրբեջանի կողմից վարձկանների ներգրավման մասին։ Նամակը կոչ է անում Բելգիայի կառավարությանը միանշանակորեն դատապարտել ահաբեկչության ցանկացած պետական հովանավորչություն և շեշտում, որ Բելգիայի շահերից չի բխում համագործակցել այնպիսի երկրների հետ, որոնք իրենց աշխարհաքաղաքական շահն առաջ են տանում նման դատապարտելի և կործանարար միջոցներով»,- ասված է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
