«Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը սկսել է նախընտրական քարոզարշավը։ Ոչ պաշտոնապես, զրահաբաճկոնով, ամենակարևորը՝ ստով։ Այդ հարցում նա հավատարիմ է ինքն իրեն ու չի կեղծում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն իշխանության է եկել ստով ու մանիպուլյացիաներով, նույն կերպ նա հիմա փորձում է պահպանել իշխանությունը։

Փաշինյանը ստի վաճառական է, ըստ ամենայնի, այդ հարցում՝ անգերազանցելի։ Նա խոսում է, ու դա դուր է գալիս մարդկանց առնվազն մի մասին, հատկապես ու հաստատապես այն մասին, որի համար կարևոր է ոչ թե ասելիքի բովանդակությունն ու ճշմարտացիությունը, այլ խոսողի անձը։ Նրան կուրորեն սիրողներ դեռ կան, և այդ հարցում մարդկանց մեղադրելը դժվար է․ ճաշակին ընկեր չկա, եթե անգամ ճաշակը հակաէսթետիկ է ու հակապետական։

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի մասնակցությունը նախընտրական քարզարշավին նշանակում է, որ ընտրությունների քարոզչությունը լինելու է ոչ թե ճշմարտության, այլ ստի ու կեղծիքի մասին։ Դրա ընթացքում հնչելու են ճշմարտություններ, սակայն, քանի որ հնչեցնողներին մարդիկ չեն սիրում այնքան ու այնպես, ինչպես Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին, նրանք չեն լսելու ճշմարտությունները ու հետևություններ չեն անելու դրանից ու որոշումներ են կայացնելու ոչ թե ճշմարտության, այլ ստի հանգույն։

Տարիներ շարունակ ապրելով ստի ու կեղծիքի մեջ, մարդկանց զգալի մասն իր համար ստեղծել է ստով կառուցված հարմարավետության գոտի, որը վտանգվում է ցանկացած ճշմարտության բարձրաձայնմամբ։ Սուտն ու կեղծիքը Հայաստանում դարձել է պետական քաղաքականության, գոյության կերպ։ Սուտը, այն չափաբաժնով, որը տեղ ունի մեր կյանքում, մարդկանց կախվածության մեջ է գցել թմրամոլների նման, քաղաքացիների այդ հատվածն ուղղակի չի կարող ապրել առանց ստի, ճշմարտությունը նրանց համար հակաթույն է, որն ընդունելը պահանջում է որոշակի կամք, խիզախություն, սխալներն ընդունելու կարողություն, հատկանիշներ, որոնք հատուկ չեն ստի հետևից գնացող զանգվածներին։

Շատ է խոսվում այն մասին, որ առաջիկա ընտրությունները կեղծվելու են անխուսափելիորեն ու անողոքաբար։ Դա, իհարկե, այդպես է։ Սակայն այդ մտահոգությունները վերաբերում են բուն ընտրական ակտին՝ երկրորդական պլան մղելով այն իրողությունը, որ այդ ընտրությունները կեղծված են ի բնե, արդեն այսօրվանից, քանի որ դրանց հիմնական շոգեքարշը լինելու է կեղծիքը, իսկ շոգեքարշն այդ վարպետորեն վարում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։

Հասարակությունները փսիխոտիկ վիճակներից կարող են դուրս գալ շոկերի միջոցով։ Հայ հասարակությունը, սակայն, բացառություն է․ 44-օրյա պատերազմն ու դրա բացահայտած ճշմարտությունները ոչ միայն չսթափեցրին նրան, այլ կարծես ավելի խոր մխրճեցին կեղծիքով լցված իրականության մեջ։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հենց այդ իրականության կերտողն ու կառավարիչն է և ընտրություններով փորձելու է վերջնականապես արմատախիլ անել ճշմարտությունը հայկական իրականությունից։ Հասարակությունը սիրով պատրաստ է դրան, քանի որ սուտն օգնում է փախչել ճշմարտությունից, որի նկատմամբ Հայաստանն այնքան խոցելի է, որքան Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ առանց զրահաբաճկոնի»,-գրում է թերթը:
