Երևանի փողոցներում առանձին մարդիկ իրենց թույլ են տալիս դասական ռասիզմի դրսևորում արցախահայության նկատմամբ։ Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջի ուղիղ եթերում ասաց Արցախի մարդու իրավունքների նախկին պաշտպան Ռուբեն մելիքյանը։

Նա ներկայացրեց մի դեպք, երբ տաքսի ծառայությունից են օգտվել երկու արցախահայ կին և ճանապարհի մի ընթացք խոսել են Արցախի բարբառով, իսկ տաքսու վարորդը կանգնել և կոպիտ խոսքերով դուրս է հանել նրանց։

«Ասել է՝ թողեք, գնացեք ձեր Ղարաբաղը, ես դեռ մեղմ եմ ասում»,– պատմեց Ռուբեն Մելիքյանը։ Նա ներկայացրեց, որ իրենք և անձամբ ինքը լուրջ զբաղվելու է այդ հարցով, գնալու են ոստիկանություն հանցագործության մասին հաղորդում տալու և հետևողական են լինելու։

Նա կոչ արեց նման երևույթների հանդիպելիս, թեկուզ եթե լինի տարբեր մարզերում ապրողների նկատմամբ, բարձրաձայնել և հետևողական լինել, քանի որ սա անընդունելի է։ Ըստ նրա՝ այս մոտեցումը տարածվում է նաև դավաճան իշխանության կողմից։

«Այն ծավալների է հասել այս երևույթը, որ պետք է հրապարակային խոսել և արմատախիլ անել։ Ներազգային ռասիզմը չպետք է տեղ ունենա մեր հասարակության մեջ, իջևանցիների, արցախցիների, երևանցիների, գյումրեցիների նկատմամբ և ոչ մեկի նկատմամբ չի կարելի»,–հավելեց նա։
