Անօրինական ներգաղթյալների ներհոսքի հետ կապված ճգնաժամի ֆոնին ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի վարչակազմը պետք է անհապաղ վերսկսի ԱՄՆ-ի և Մեքսիկայի միջև սահմանին պատի կառուցումը։ Այս մասին ասված է ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփի՝ նախօրեին տարածած հայտարարության մեջ, փոխանցում է New York Post-ը։

Թրամփի խոսքով՝ նրան հաջողվել է ապահովել հուսալի սահմանային անվտանգություն, իսկ Բայդենի վարչակազմը «մի քանի շաբաթվա ընթացքում ազգային հաղթարշավը վերածել է ազգային աղետի»: Ինչպես կարծում է Թրամփը, ԱՄՆ գործող նախագահի վարչակազմը պետք է «ընդունի իր լիակատար պարտությունը»:

«Նրանց գործողությունները հանգեցնում են մարդկային զոհերի, ողբերգական իրադարձությունների»,- ընդգծել է նա:

ԱՄՆ նախկին նախագահը հայտարարել է, որ նոր վարչակազմը «պետք է անհապաղ ավարտին հասնի պատի կառուցմանը»: Նրա կարծիքով՝ դա կարելի է անել «մի քանի շաբաթվա ընթացքում»։

Այս շաբաթ ԱՄՆ-ի ներքին անվտանգության նախարարությունը հայտնել է, որ երկիրը պետք է պատրաստ լինի վերջին երկու տասնամյակների ընթացքում Կենտրոնական Ամերիկայի պետություններից ռեկորդային թվով անօրինական ներգաղթյալների ժամանմանը:

Թրամփը դեռ 2016-ի նախընտրական արշավի ժամանակ խոստացել էր ավելի խիստ ներգաղթի քաղաքականություն վարել և ուժեղացնել սահմանային վերահսկողությունը: Թրամփը նախաձեռնել է Մեքսիկայի հետ սահմանին պատի կառուցումը, որը նրա պնդմամբ՝ պետք է օգներ կանխել անօրինական ներգաղթն ու թմրանյութերի մաքսանենգությունը։

Բայդենն այս տարվա հունվարին երդմնակալությունից անմիջապես հետո մի շարք հրամանագրեր է ստորագրել, այդ թվում՝ մեղմացրել Է երկրի միգրացիոն օրենսդրությունը: Նախագահի պաշտոնում վերջինիս առաջին հրահանգներից մեկը եղել է ամերիկա-մեքսիկական սահմանին տիրող իրավիճակի պատճառով Թրամփի սահմանած արտակարգ դրության ռեժիմի չեղարկումը: Այս ռեժիմը թույլ էր տալիս ֆինանսավորել պատի կառուցումը՝ շրջանցելով ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսը։
