Երեկ հայտնի դարձավ, որ ՀՀ նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը հանդիպել է «Երրորդ ուժ» քաղաքացիական նախաձեռնության ներկայացուցիչ, «Թովմասյան» հիմնադրամի ղեկավար Արտակ Թովմասյանի հետ: Պաշտոնական տեղեկության համաձայն, հանդիպմանը քննարկվել են երկրում ստեղծված իրավիճակը և ներքաղաքական ճգնաժամը հաղթահարելու ուղիները: Այս համատեքստում Արտակ Թովմասյանը ներկայացրել է իրենց առաջարկություններն ու դիրքորոշումը: «Փաստին» ուշագրավ որոշ մանրամասներ են հայտնի դարձել այս հանդիպումից:
Մասնավորաբար, մեր տեղեկություններով, Արտակ Թովմասյանը նախագահին ասել է, որ այս վիճակում, երբ առկա է ներքաղաքական, ներհասարակական սուր լարվածություն, երբ ատելության մթնոլորտը գերակշռում է, և երբ հասարակության մեջ կա ընդգծված անվստահություն քաղաքական դաշտի հանդեպ, ճիշտ չէ գնալ արտահերթ ընտրությունների: Մեր աղբյուրի փոխանցմամբ, Արտակ Թովմասյանը կարծիք է հայտնել, որ լավագույն լուծումը կլինի «ճգնաժամային կառավարիչների» ժամանակավոր կառավարության ձևավորումը, որը թույլ կտա որոշակի ժամանակահատվածում հանդարտեցնել առկա վիճակը, կանխել տնտեսական կոլապսը, ձևավորել համերաշխության մթնոլորտ, որից հետո հավասար պայմաններում անցկացնել ընտրություններ, որոնք իրենց լեգիտիմության առումով կասկածի տեղիք չեն տա:
