«Թեև արտահերթ ընտրությունների օրվա մասին հայտարարվեց երեկ, սակայն թե՛ իշխանությունը, թե՛ ընդդիմությունը վաղուց էին պատրաստվում ընտրական գործընթացներին։ Հնարավոր միավորումների, դաշինքների, անգամ ցուցակների կազմման շուրջ քննարկումները սկսվել են մոտ մեկ ամիս առաջ։ Օրինակ, իշխանությունն ուզում է խաղի մեջ մտցնել նոր միավոր՝ Արման Բաբաջանյան-Արամ Սարգսյան դաշինքի տեսքով, ուշագրավ է, որ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի թիմում հույս ունեն, որ այդ դաշինքը կարող է հանդիսանալ այս ընտրություններին երրորդ ուժը, այլընտրանքը։
Այսինքն՝ բոլոր նրանք, ովքեր կմերժեն թե՛ իշխանություններին, թե՛ նախկիններին, իրենց ձայնը տան այդ դաշինքին, այն անցնի խորհրդարան, ապա Փաշինյանի հետ կոալիցիա կազմի։ Փոխարենը ընդդիմության դաշտում միավորումները գլուխ չեն գալիս, Ծառուկյանն ի սկզբանե է ասել, որ միայնակ է մասնակցելու, ամենայն հավանականությամբ՝ Արթուր Վանեցյանը նույնպես դաշինք չի կազմի, այս պահի դրությամբ միակ հնարավոր միավորումը ՀՅԴ-ի ու Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանի միջև է։ Բայց մեծ թվով մանր կուսակցություններ միավորներ կձևավորեն։ Այժմ սկսվել է բուռն բանակցությունների փուլը»,-գրում է թերթը:
