Մեծ Բրիտանիայում վիկտորյանական դարաշրջանի բանտի պատին հայտնվել է ուշագրավ գրաֆիտի, որի հեղինակը, ենթադրաբար, Բենքսին է (լուսանկարներ)
CULTUREԱնգլիական Բերքշիր կոմսության Ռեդինգյան բանտի շենքի պատին նոր գրաֆիտի է հայտնվել, որը, ինչպես ենթադրում են, ստեղծել է Բենքսի կեղծանունով փողոցային նկարիչը, որի արտաքինն ու իրական անունը մինչ այժմ առեղծված են մնում, հաղորդում է BBC News-ը:
Բանտի բակը շրջապատող աղյուսե բարձր պատի վրա պատկերված է փախուստի դիմող մի տղամարդ, որը բանտարկյալի զոլավոր շորեր է կրում։ Նկարի հերոսը բանտից փախուստի է դիմում թերթերից հյուսված պարանի միջոցով։
Նշվում է, որ աշխատանքը կատարվել է Բենքսիին բնորոշ ոճով, սակայն նկարիչը դեռ չի հաստատել, որ ինքն է հեղինակը։
19-րդ դարի կեսերին կառուցված բանտի շենքը վիկտորյանական դարաշրջանի ճարտարապետության հուշարձան է և 2013 թվականից չի գործում: Բրիտանական կառավարությունը չի կարողացել շինության համար գնորդներ գտնել և դեռևս չի համաձայնում այն մշակութային կենտրոնի վերածելու առաջարկներին:
Հատկանշական է, որ բրիտանացի բանաստեղծ և դրամատուրգ Օսկար Ուայլդը նույնպես բանտին նվիրված ստեղծագործություն ունի՝ «Ռեդինգյան բանտի բալլադը»։ Դրամատուրգն այնտեղ անձամբ անցկացրել է մեկուկես տարի։
Շատերը ենթադրում են, որ գրաֆիտին կարող է հղում լինել գրողի կենսագրությանը։
