Հոլիվուդյան հայտնի դերասան Էդի Մերֆին, անդրադառնալով իր մասնակցությամբ Coming To America 2 ֆիլմին, խոսել է կինոարտադրությունում առկա ռասիզմի և բազմազանության բացակայության մասին, հայտնում է Daily Mail–ը։

59–ամյա դերասանն ընդգծել է, որ Հոլիվուդում կինոարտադրության ոլորտը ղեկավարում են սպիտակամորթ տղամարդիկ։

«Այս ոլորտը տարիներով այսպես է եղել։ Եվ սա ոչ միայն աֆրոամերիկացիներին է վերաբերվում, այլ կանանց և մյուս բոլոր փոքրամասնություններին։ Սպիտակամորթ տղամարդիկ են այս ոլորտը ղեկավարում», – նշել է դերասանը։

Պատասխանելով հարցին՝ արդյոք այդ ռասիզմը խանգարել է իրեն, դերասանն ասել է, որ արդեն 40 տարի է, ինչ նկարահանվում է ֆիլմերում և դա իրեն երբեք չի խանգարել դերեր ստանալ։ Սակայն, անդրադառնալով ներկա պայմաններին, Մերֆին նշել է․ «Մենք քաղաքական կոռեկտության ժամանակաշրջանի ենք անցնում և մարդիկ մի փոքր ավելի կոշտ վերաբերմունք ունեն կատակերգության նկատմամբ, սակայն ծիծաղելիի համար պիտանելության ժամկետ չկա»։

Դերասանը Coming To America ֆիլմի շարունակության մեջ կրկին մարմնավորելու է արքայազն Աքիմին, իսկ արքայազնի դստեր դերը խաղալու է իր 19-ամյա աղջիկը՝ Բելլան, որի համար ֆիլմը դեբյուտային կլինի։

«Նա պիտի կարողանար անել դա, հակառակ դեպքում չէր ստանա դերը», – նշել է դերասանը, իսկ դուստրը հավելել է, որ ցանկանում է շատ լավ ներկայանալ և չի ցանկանում, որ ֆիլմը դիտելու ժամանակ ասեն․ «Դա պետք է որ նրա դուստրը լինի»։

Օրիգինալ ֆիլմը էկրաններ է բարձրացել ավելի քան 30 տարի առաջ: Դրանում արքայազնը Զումունդայի թագավորությունից Միացյալ Նահանգներ է ժամանում իր համար հարսնացու գտնելու նպատակով։
