«Այսօր մարտի 1-ն, «Մարտի 1»-ի հիմնական ոջրագործը, զանգվածային անկարգություններ կազմակերպողը եւ դրա համար դատված անձնավորությունը Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը, նորից հանրահավաք է կազմակերպում եւ փորձում է մարդկանց մոլորության մեջ գցել, որովհետեւ 2008-ին նաեւ մենք՝ հայկական բանակը, արդեն զգում էինք, թե ուր են տանում մեր ժողովրդին, դեպի զանգվածային անկարգություններ: Դրա համար դատվածությունը նույնիսկ իրենց իշխանության օրոք պահպանվում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի վրա»,-ասաց նա:
Սեյրան Օհանյանն անդրադարձավ Գլխվոր շտաբի հայտարարությանը՝ նշելով. «Բանակը ճիշտ է արել, բանակի հրամանատարությանը վարչապեն իրավունք չունի ոչ պաշտոնից ազատելու, ոչ հետապնդելու: Ճիշտ է, ասում են՝ բանակը պետք է քաղաքական չեզոքություն ցուցաբերի, բայց նրանք քաղաքական չեզոքություն են ցուցաբերում, չեն խառնվում այս հանրահավաքներին: Բայց իրենք իրենց տեսակետն են արտահայտում, որպես ՀՀ քաղաքացի»:
Նա խոսեց նաեւ Հանրապետության հրապարակում հրավիրված հանրահավաքի մասին. «ՏԻՄ-եր, դպրոցներ, գործարարներ, օլիգարխների հատ առ հատ գրել են, ցուցակ կազմել, բերել Հանրապետության հրպարակ: Եթե դու կարող էիր հատ առ հատ ցուցակ կազմել ու բերել հրապարակ, ինչու դու դա չարեցիր այդ 44 օրվա ընթացքում, ինչու չկազմակերպեցին ու չտարար, որ մենք այնտեղ հաղթանակ տանենք: Մենք մեր բանակի կողիքն ենք եւ անպայման ունենալու ենք հաղթանակ»,-ասաց Սեյրան Օհանյանը:
