ՄԱՆ նախկին նախագահ Դոնալդ Թրամփն ասել է, որ չի պատրաստվում նոր քաղաքական կուսակցություն հիմնել՝ նշելով, որ այդպիսով կկիսվեն Հանրապետականների ձայները, հայտնում է BBC–ն։

Ինչպես ավելի վաղ տեղեկացրել է Tert.am–ը, Դոնալդ Թրամփը, նախագահական պաշտոնը թողնելուց հետո առաջին անգամ, ելույթ է ունեցել և նշել, որ կարող է իր թեկնածությունն առաջադրել 2024 թվականի նախագահական ընտրություններում։ Նա քննադատել է իր իրավահաջորդին և նշել, որ Միացյալ Նահանգներն «Ամերիկան առաջին տեղում» քաղաքականությունից անցում է կատարել «Ամերիկան վերջին տեղում» քաղաքականությանը։

«Ես այսօր կանգնած եմ ձեր առջև հայտարարելու, որ չորս տարի առաջ միասին սկսած անհավատալի ճանապարհորդությունը ավարտից հեռու է։ Մենք այսօր հավաքվել ենք՝ խոսելու ապագայի մասին՝ մեր շարժման ապագայի, մեր կուսակցության ապագայի և մեր սիրելի երկրի ապագայի մասին», – ասել է Դոնալդ Թրամփը և հավելել, որ Հանրապետական կուսակցությունը պատրաստվում է միավորվել և լինել ավելի ուժեղ, քան եբևէ։

Անդրադառնալով Բայդեի վարչակազմին՝ Թրամփն ասել է․ «Մենք բոլորս գիտեինք, որ Բայդենի վարչակազմը վատն է լինելու, սակայն մեզանից ոչ ոք չէր պատկերացնում, թե որքան հեռու կարող են գնալ»։

Հունվարի 6-ին Թրամփի կողմնակիցները, չընդունելով նոյեմբերի 3-ին կայացած նախագահական ընտրությունների արդյունքները, ըստ որոնց՝ հաղթանակ է տարել դեմոկրատ Ջո Բայդենը, ներխուժել էին ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսի շենք՝ փորձելով թույլ չտալ արդյունքների վերջնական հաստատումը Սենատի կողմից: Անկարգությունների հետևանքով 5 մարդ է սպանվել:

ԱՄՆ-ի Կոնգրեսի Ներկայացուցիչների պալատը Կոնգրեսի շենքում անկարգություններ հրահրելու մեղադրանքով հունվարի 13-ին 232 կողմ և 197 դեմ ձայներով Թրամփի նկատմամբ իմփիչմենթ էր հայտարարել:

Սակայն ավելի ուշ, չհավաքելով նախկին նախագահին իմփիչմենթի ենթարկելու համար անհրաժեշտ ձայները, Սենատն արդարացրել էր նրան։ Ընդ որում, հանրապետական 7 սենատորներ աջակցել են այդ գործընթացին:
