ԻՊ-ի ահաբեկիչները Քոբանիի վրա հարձակման համար Սիրիա են մտել Թուրքիայից

«Իսլամական պետության» ահաբեկիչները թուրք-սիրիական սահմանի մերձկայքում գտնվող Քոբանի քաղաքի վրա հարձակում սկսելու նպատակով սիրիական տարածք են մտել Թուրքիայից: Ինչպես հաղորդում են արաբական լրատվամիջոցները, այս մասին տեղեկացնում է սիրիական հեռուստատեսությունը: Թուրքիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը կտրականապես հերքել է այդ մասին տեղեկությունները: Նախարարության տեղեկացմամ բ՝ 63 վիրավորներ տեղափոխվել են հիվանդանոց:
«Իսլամական պետությունը» հարձակում է գործել Սիրիայի հյուսիսում գտնվող երկու քաղաքների՝ Հասաքեի և Քոբանիի վրա: Տեղեկություններ կան, որ ահաբեկիչները երեք ականապատ մեքենաներ են պայթեցրել, որոնցից մեկը՝ թուրք-սիրիական սահմանային անցումի մոտ: Զոհերի թվի մասին որոշակի տեղեկություններ դեռ չեն հաղորդվում, միայն հայտնի է, որ ԻՊ-ի ահաբեկիչները Քոբանիում 20 մարդկանց են սպանել:
Քրդական ուժերին 2015թ.-ի հունվարին հաջողվել էր ԻՊ-ին քշել Քոբանիից:
ԻՊ-ն 2014թ. սեպտեմբերի կեսերից սկսել է հարձակումներ գործել Քոբանի քաղաքի վրա՝ փորձելով վերահսկողություն հաստատել այնտեղ: Քաղաքը կարևոր նշանակություն ունի կազմակերպության համար, քանի որ այն գրավելու դեպքում ԻՊ-ն վերահսկողություն կհաստատի Թուրքիայի սահմանի մերձակայքում` Հալեպի մարզի գրաված տարածքներից մինչեւ Ռակկայի մոտ գտնվող Թել Աբյադ քաղաք: Քոբանի (Այն ալ Արաբ) քաղաքը գտնվում է Դամասկոսից 532 կմհեռավորության վրա՝ Թուրքիայի սահմանի մերձակայքում:
