Մեղրի համայնքի ղեկավար Մխիթար Զաքարյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․

«Հայրենակիցնե՛ր, Մեղրի համայնքի հարգելի բնակիչներ, իմ նկատմամաբ քաղաքական համակրություն ու հակակրություն ունեցող քաղաքացիներ

Այսօր մենք կանգնած ենք մեր պետականության ու ինքնիշխանության կորսման եզրագծին։ Իրավիճակն իրապես ծայրահեղ է, որովհետև մի կողմից պետական ապարատն է պարալիզացված, մյուս կողմից ամենօրյա մարտահրավերներն են մեր դուռը թակում, իսկ մեկ այլ կողմից վարչապետի աթոռին հայտնված և երկիրն այս օրին հասցրած անձն իր ամեն մի խոսքով, ելույթով գրգռում է առանց այդ էլ շիկացած վիճակը։

Կցանականայի իմ, համայնքի ավագանու և թիմակիցներիս անվերապահ աջակցությունը հայտնել ՀՀ ԳՇ-ին և Օնիկ Գասպարյանին։ Մարդու, որի կենսագրությունը, անցած ճանապարհն ամբողջապես պետական այրի վարքի դրսևորման լավագույն օրինակ է։

Սպայությունը` որպես մեր ազգային մտավորականության առանձնահատուկ շերտ, չեմ խուսափում ասել՝ էլիտա, ունենեցել և ունի բարձր հասարակական վարկ ու կշիռ, ներդրում, և ես՝ որպես երեք կողմից սահման ունեցող համայնքի ղեկավար, չեմ ուզում առնչվել արկածախնդիր ( առօրյա խոսակցականում ասում ենք՝ քյալլագյոզ), որոշումներում՝ իմպուլսիվ, ազգակործան, անանցյալ ու անապագա իշխանության հետ, տեսնել նրա քաղաքական կուրսը, որը տանում է անդունդ։

Պատերազմող երկրի սպան բաց նյարդի պես է զգում այս երկիրն ու սպասվող ոտնձգությունները, իսկ ես օրվա մեծ մասն եմ անցկացնում նրանց հետ և բանակի պրիզմայով եմ նայում պետությանը, նրա խնդիրներին ու հոգսերին։

Ուզում եմ սթափության և ողջախոհության կոչ անել՝ հանուն երկրի ներքին կայունության, հանուն երերող այս երկրի առողջացման։ Հույս ունեմ, որ ժողովրդի հավաքական գիտակցությունը և ինքնապահպանման բնազդն ի վերջո կհաղթի երկրպագության և միջնադարյան ծես հիշեցնող այս մոլագար դրսևորումներին։

Հայոց բանակի ու սպայի կողքին եմ, նրա զինվորն եմ և ամեն պահի պատրաստ եմ սատարել նրան»։
