Գործ ունենք ռազմագերիների 200 ապացուցված դեպքերի հետ, իսկ ենթադրյալ դեպքերի քանակը մոտ է 300-ի։ Այս մասին ԼՈՒՐԵՐ․com-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց Մարդու իրավունքների եվրոպական դատարանում ռազմագերիների իրավունքների պաշտպանությամբ զբաղվող փաստաբան Սիրանուշ Սահակյանը՝ անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանում գտնվող մեր հայրենակիցներին։

Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիևըի հայտարարել է, թե Բաքուն վերադարձրել է «բոլոր հայ գերիներին», մյուսները պահվում են որպես «ահաբեկիչներ և դիվերսանտներ»»։

Մեզ հետ զրույցում Սահակյանը Ալիևի հայտարարությունը դիտարկեց քաղաքական կոնտեքստում․ «Որևէ իրավական հիմք ու բացատրություն չկա՝ հաշվի առնելով, որ վերադարձած անձանցից շատերը նույն խմբում են գտնվել և ներկայացվում են որպես հանցագործներ, այստեղ տեսնում ենք շահարկումների հնարավորություն։ Անբացատրելի է, թե ինչու նույն կարգավիճակում գտնվող անձանց կարգավիճակը օրերի կամ ժամերի ընթացքում փոխվեց և որոնք են այդ նախադրյալները։ Նման իրավական նախադրյալներ չկան, փաստերը չեն խոսում նշված անձանց հանցագործ կամ ահաբեկիչ լինելու մասին։ Մենք գործ ունենք բացառապես քաղաքական գործընթացների հետ։ ՀՀ վարչապետը մի քանի օր առաջ խոսել էր ռամագերիների հարցի սակարկությունների մասին և ի  պատասխան նրա դիրքորոշման՝ Ադրբեջանը քաղաքական ճնշում է գործադրում»,- ասաց նա՝ նկատելով, որ ՀՀ իշխանությունները հրապարակային խոսեցին ռամագերիների հարցի սակարկությունների մասին, Ադրբեջանի նախագահն էլ հրապարակային խոսում է ռազմագերիների ահաբեկիչ լինելու կարգավիճակի մասին։ 

Թե այդ դեպքում ինչո՞ւ Հայաստանի իշխանությունները որոշում կայացրին վերադարձնել ադրբեջանցի դիվերսանտներին, երբ Ադրբեջանը մեր ռազմագերիներին փորձում է ներկայացնել որպես «դիվերսանտներ»՝ Սահակյանի խոսքով` ցացատրություն չկա․ «Դա մեզ զրկել է հետագայում  ռազմագերիներին վերադարձնելու իրական գործիքներից, իսկ թե ինչու այդ փուլում կիսահաշվարկով Հայաստանի իշխանությունները գնացին այդ քայլին թերևս իրենք պետք է մեկնաբանեն։ Ինձ համար դա անընդունելի և անթույլատրելի որոշում էր, քանի որ կարող էինք անգամ մեկին տալ, մյուսին պահել։ Բայց քանի դեռ մինչև վերջին հայ գերեվարված անձը մուտք չէր գործել Հայաստան, իրավունք չունեինք վերադարձնելու ադրբեջանցի հանցագործներին»,- նշեց Սահակյանը։
