Исследователи оценили эффективность вакцины Pfizer после первой дозы
ECONOMICSЭффективность вакцины фирмы Pfizer составляет 85% уже после первой дозы, выяснили исследователи израильского медицинского центра Шиба Тель-А-Шомер, передает РИА НОВОСТИ.
«После того как 7 тысяч сотрудников (больницы) получили свою первую дозу (вакцины Pfizer) в январе, исследовательская группа Шиба отметила 85-процентное снижение симптоматически выраженных случаев заболевания COVID-19 в период между 15-28 днями после вакцинации», - говорится в пресс-релизе, распространенном клиническим центром.
При этом общее число инфицированных, в том числе и бессимптомных носителей, снизилось на 75%, выяснили авторы исследования.
«Это новаторское исследование поддерживает решение правительства Великобритании начать вакцинацию своих граждан однократной дозой вакцины», - заявил заместитель гендиректора медицинского центра профессор Арнон Афек.
Израиль занимает лидирующее место в мире по проценту вакцинированных граждан. Первую дозу прививки получили на сегодняшний день более 4,13 миллиона человек, вторую - более 2,7 миллиона. По соглашению с компанией Pfizer Израиль пообещал делиться информацией о ходе вакцинации в стране и побочных действиях препарата.
