«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Արցախում ադրբեջանաթուրքական ագրեսիայի եւ սանձազերծված պատերազմից հետո ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովը դեկտեմբերի 8-ին՝ հայ ռազմագերիներին եւ գերեվարված քաղաքացիական անձանց գերությունից վերադարձնելու խնդրով դռնփակ ռեժիմով հրատապ քննարկումից հետո, ընդունեց միջազգային հանրությանը, կառույցներին ուղղված ուղերձ՝ կոչ անելով պահանջել Ադրբեջանից անհապաղ հայկական կողմին հանձնել գերիներին, դադարեցնել նրանց նկատմամբ խոշտանգումն ու անմարդկային վերաբերմունքը:

Սակայն այդ հայտարարությունից անցել է արդեն երկու ամիս, իսկ ադրբեջանական կողմում, տարբեր տվյալների համաձայն, հարյուրից ավելի գերիներ կան, սակայն նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարությունից հետո գերի ընկածներին ազերիները ռազմագերի չեն համարում, այլ հանցագործներ:

Եվ, ահա, անկախ պատգամավորներ Թագուհի Թովմասյանը, Վարդան Աթաբեկյանն ու Աննա Գրիգորյանը երեկ շրջանառության մեջ են դրել նախագիծ՝ «Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության ներքո գտնվող ռազմագերիների եւ գերեվարված քաղաքացիական անձանց, այդ թվում` կանանց հայրենադարձմանը խոչընդոտելու Ադրբեջանի քաղաքականությունը դատապարտելու վերաբերյալ»: Այս նախագծով անկախ պատգամավորները նպատակ ունեն միջազգային հանրության ճնշումն ակնկալել ադրբեջանցիների նկատմամբ:

«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի հետ զրույցում նախագծի համահեղինակ, անկախ պատգամավոր Թագուհի Թովմասյանը նշեց, թե նախատեսում են քննարկումն անցկացնել փակ ռեժիմով: «Այն կանցկացնենք դռնփակ, որպեսզի քննարկումը չդառնա քաղաքական շահարկումների առարկա: Մեր նպատակը երկրի թիվ մեկ մանդատը ունեցող մարմնի կողմից դատապարտող հայտարարության ընդունումն է, այլ ոչ թե գերիների թեմայով աղմուկ կազմակերպելը», – հավելեց նա:

Մեջբերենք հայտարարությունից մի հատված. «ՀՀ Ազգային ժողովը դատապարտում է Ադրբեջանում հայատյացության ու կազմակերպված թշնամանքի քաղաքականության պայմաններում Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության ներքո գտնվող ռազմագերիների, պատանդների եւ պահվող այլ անձանց հայրենադարձմանը խոչընդոտելը եւ արձանագրում, որ գերիներին չվերադարձնելու՝ Ադրբեջանի այս բացարձակ անթույլատրելի վարքագիծը խախտում է միջազգային մարդասիրական իրավունքը, Ադրբեջանի կողմից ստանձնած միջազգային պարտավորությունները, ուստի պետք է արժանանան միջազգային կառույցների, միջազգային հանրության եւ իրավապաշտպան կազմակերպությունների խիստ գնահատականին եւ դատապարտմանը»:
