«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Հայաստանի մշտական բնակչության թվաքանակը ավելացել է: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը տեղեկացավ, որ այս տարվա հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ մեր հանրապետության մշտական բնակչության թվաքանակը կազմել է 2 մլն 964 հազար 100, իսկ, ահա, նախորդ տարվա հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ մշտական բնակչության թվաքանակը կազմել է 2 մլն 959 հազար 700:

Ստացվում է, որ մեկ տարվա ընթացքում բնակչության թվաքանակը ավելացել է 4400-ով: Սակայն սրան մասնագետներն ունեն իրենց բացատրությունը. բանն այն է, որ արտագնա աշխատանքի մեկնած եւ 2019-ին ՀՀ վերադարձած մեր քաղաքացիները 2020 թվականին կորոնավիրուսի պատճառով չեն կարողացել երկրից դուրս գալ, եւ այս պատճառով է, որ բնակչության թվաքանակը, պաշտոնական տվյալներով, ավելացել։Բայց, չնայած սրան, 2019 թվականի հունվարի 1-ի համեմատ՝ այս տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածում բնակչության թվաքանակը, հակառակը, նվազել է 1200-ով: Ընդ որում՝ Հայաստանում այս տարվա հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ կանայք թվով գերակշռել են տղամարդկանց. 2 մլն 964 հազար 100-ից 1 մլն 565 հազար 600-ը կին է, իսկ 1 մլն 398 հազար 500-ը տղամարդ։

Բացի մշտական բնակչության թվաքանակի ավելանալուց, աճել է նաեւ ծնվածների թիվը. եթե 2018 թվականին ծնվածների թիվը կազմել է 36574, ապա 2019-ին՝ 36041, 2020-ին՝ 36448, այսինքն՝ ծնվածները 407-ով ավելացել են: Մյուս կարեւոր ցուցանիշը այն է, որ մահացածների թիվը մեկ տարվա ընթացքում ավելացել է 9185-ով:
