«Առևտրի թեման պարզ է, չէ՞։ Արցախի ԱԳՆ-ն հայտարարում է, որ օտարերկյա քաղաքացիների մուտքը Արցախ հնարավոր է միայն ռուս խաղաղապահների (իսկ իրականում՝ Ադրբեջանի) թույլտվության պարագայում, հաջորդ օրը Ալիևը ևս մի քանի ռազմագերու է վերադարձնում Հայաստան։
Ի՞նչ է ստանում այս առևտրում Ալիևը։ Պատասխանը կարծում եմ պարզ է՝ Արցախը լիարժեք վերահսկելու ևս մեկ գործիք ու միջազգային հանրության աչքում հումանիստ երևալու հնարավորություն։ Առնվազն այսքանը։
Իսկ ի՞նչ է ստանում Հայաստանը…
Որպեսզի խոսքս երկիմաստ չթվա, մասնավորապես որևէ անմեղսունակ չկարծի, թե դեմ եմ գերիների վերադարձին, ասեմ, որ եթե մեր երկրում լիներ ոչ թե դավաճանների, այլ պետությունն ու ժողովրդին գոնե թե մի քիչ հարգող այլ իշխանություն, ապա գերիների հարցը վաղուց արդեն լուծված կլիներ։ Շատ ավելի վաղ, քան, օրինակ, Քարվաճառի ու Քաշաթաղի շրջանների հանձնումն էր։ Չնայած՝ այդ դեպքում Քարվաճառն էլ կշարունակեր հայկական մնալ»։
