Թուրքագետ Վարուժան Գեղամյանը Տելեգրամի իր ալիքում գրում է.

«​- Փետրվարի 6-ին Թյուրքախոս պետությունների համագործակցության խորհրդի տրանսպորտի գծով աշխատանքային հանձնաժողովը, որի անդամ են Թուրքիան, Ադրբեջանը, Ղազախստանը, Ղրղզստանը, առցանց քննարկում էր կազմակերպել Նախիջևանի մուլտիմոդալ միջանցքի տնտեսական և քաղաքական սպասվելիք հնարավորությունների վերաբերյալ, որի ընթացքում ողջունել էր բացվող միջանցքի փաստը։
- Փետրվարի 3-ին Թուրքիայի տրանսպորտի նախարար Ա. Քարաիսմաիլօղլուն նշել է, որ իր առաջիկա այցելությանը Բաքու կրկին քննարկելու է Նախիջևանի միջանցքի հետ կապված հարցերը։
- Հունվարի վերջին ղազախստանցի փորձագետները հայտնել էին, որ Նախիջևանի միջանցքը նպաստելու է Ղազախստան-Ադրբեջան-Թուրքիա տնտեսական և քաղաքական հարաբերությունների զարգացմանը և դառնալու է «Նոր մետաքսի ճանապարհ»։
- Փետրվարի 5-ին թուրքական մերձիշխանական HaberTürk լրատվականի լրագրող Չեթիներ Չեթինը, ով Արցախյան երկրորդ պատերազմը լուսաբանում էր առաջնագծից, հղում անելով թուրքական և ադրբեջանական դիվանագիտական աղբյուրների վրա, նշում է, որ Մոսկվայում հանդիպող տրանսպորտային ապաշրջափակման հանձնաժողովի օրակարգային գլխավոր թեման Նախիջևանի միջանցքի բացումն է, որը առաջիկա շաբաթներին կլուծվի։
- Փետրվարի 8-ին թուրքական ANKASAM հետազոտական կենտրոնը հրապարակեց իր ուսումնասիրությունը, որը նվիրված է Նախիջևանի միջանցքին։ Ըստ կենտրոնի՝ միջանցքի բացման հարցը կլուծվի մոտ ժամանակներս։
Այս ցանկը կարող եմ անվերջ շարունակել։
Հավանաբար արդեն կռահեցիք, որ «Նախիջևանի միջանցք» կոչվածը նույն Մեղրիի միջանցքն է։ Մեր հակառակորդները շատ լավ իմանալով, որ Մեղրիի միջանցք անունը ցանկացած մտածող հայի մոտ առաջացնում է զայրույթ և դիմադրություն (իմիջիայլոց, հրապարակվող փորձագիտական նյութերում այդ մասին ևս խոսք կա), այն նրբորեն փոխարինել են «Նախիջևանի միջանցք» անվամբ։
Եւ չնայած ՀՀ տգետների իշխանության բոլոր ջանքերին՝ թաքցնելու մեզանից Մեղրիի միջանցքի բացման փաստը, Թուրքիայում, Ադրբեջանում, Ղազախստանում և այլ աշխարհաքաղաքական միջավայրերում տեղի ունեցող քննարկումներն ու հրապարակվող նյութերը գրեթե կասկած չեն թողնում, որ մեր ապաշնորհ իշխանությունները համաձայնել են Սյունիքի ու Հայաստանի պետականության համար կործանարար Մեղրիի միջանցքի բացմանը։
