Պեկինի իշխանությունները պատրաստվում են ուշագրավ փորձ իրականացնել, որի ընթացքում քաղաքացիները կվճարվեն՝ ավանդական փողերից հրաժարվելու և ժամանակավորապես հօգուտ Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական բանկի (երկրի կենտրոնական բանկ) կողմից մշակվող թվային յուանի օգտագործմանն անցում կատարելու համար, հայտնում է Lenta.ru-ն՝ հղում տալով չինական CNBC- ին:

Լայնածավալ փորձի երրորդ փուլին (նախորդներն իրականացվել են Շենժժեն և Սուժոու քաղաքներում), մասնակցելու է մոտ 50 հազար մարդ, որոնց կտրամադրվի 200 յուան ( 31 դոլար): Փորձարկման շրջանակներում, ընդհանուր առմամբ, քաղաքացիները կստանան 10 միլիոն յուան (1.5 միլիոն դոլար):

Փորձի մասնակիցները կկարողանան ստացված թվային գումարները ծախսել նախապես որոշված առցանց խանութներում կամ JD.com շուկայում: Գնումները հասանելի կլինեն փետրվարի 10-ից փետրվարի 17-ը, երբ Չինաստանը նշում է Լուսնային օրացույցով  Նոր տարին:

Չինաստանի Ժողովրդական բանկն իր սեփական թվային արժույթը զարգացնող բանկերից մեկն է աշխարհում: Նույնն անում են նաև Շվեդիայի, Ֆրանսիայի, Ռուսաստանի և մի շարք այլ երկրների կենտրոնական բանկերը:

Ակնկալվում է, որ թվային արժույթը գործունակությամբ նման կլինի անկանխիկ գումարներին, բայց ֆորմալ առումով այն կլինի գոյություն ունեցող կանխիկ և անկանխիկ միջոցներից բացի վճարման երրորդ միջոց: Միևնույն ժամանակ, իրենց թվային արժույթը մշակող երկրների ֆինանսական մարմինները շեշտում են, որ այն ոչ մի կապ չի ունենա ընդհանոր թվային արժույթի հետ, քանի որ այն թողարկվելու է մեկ կենտրոնի կողմից` ի դեմս Կենտրոնական բանկի:
