Ընդունված է ռաբիսը վերագրել միայն երաժշտությանը կամ արվեստին։ Իրականում, սակայն, ռաբիսն ավելի ընդգրկուն կատեգորիա է և ներառում է մարդկային կենսագործունեության բոլոր ոլորտները։ Ռաբիսը մտածողության տեսակ է, աշխարհայացք, ցածրարժեքության ինտեգրալ արտահայտություն, որը դրսևորվում է բոլոր բնագավառներում, այդ թվում՝ քաղաքականության մեջ։ Քաղաքականության մեջ ռաբիսի ամենավառ արտահայտությունը պոպուլիզմն է։ Այն անկրթության ու հակաբանականության հաղթանակն է քաղաքականության մեջ։

Ինչպես երաժշտության մեջ, այնպես էլ քաղաքականության պարագային, ռաբիսի սպառումը չի պահանջում ինտելեկտուալ ջանք, էներգիայի ծախս ու ուժերի լարում, այն դյուրամարս է՝ ինչպես ռեստորանում հնչող 6/8-ը։

Պոպուլիզմը վտանգավոր չէ, եթե այն գոյատևում է ինչ-որ տեղ քաղաքականության լուսանցքում՝ որպես ենթամշակույթ կամ մարգինալ զբաղմունք։ Բայց երբ պոպուլիզմը հաղթանակում ու դառնում է իշխանություն, պետական քաղաքականություն, երկրի հետ լինում է մոտավորապես այն, ինչ պատահում է հարբած հարսանքավորների պարագային՝ ուղեղը բռնաբարող ռաբիս երաժշտության հնչյունների ուղեկցության ներքո։

Ինչպես ռեստորանային կլկլոցը, այնպես էլ  քաղաքական ռաբիսը դյուրամարս է ու հաճելի բոլոր նրանց համար, իհարկե, ովքեր ծիծաղում են Բախի կամ Ստրավինսկու երաժշտությունը լսելիս։ Լինենք անկեղծ, Կոմիտաս ունեցող մեր հասարակությունը, այդուհանդերձ, պաշտում է Թաթային կամ Սպիտակցի Հայկոյին։ Իսկ եթե դա այդպես է երաժշտության պարագային, ապա ինչո՞ւ պետք է նույնը տեղի չունենա նաև քաղաքականության դեպքում։ Այդ իմաստով Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ որպես երկրի ղեկավար, հենց Թաթան է կամ Սպիտակցի Հայկոն, որովհետև նա կամ նրա տեխնոլոգները ճշգրիտ են հաշվարկել մեր հասարակության՝ պայմանականորեն Բախին ատելու չափաբաժինը և անհագուրդ նվիրվածությունը ռաբիսին։

Նաև դա է Հայաստանում պուպուլիզմի հաղթանակի ու հաղթարշավի խորքային պատճառներից մեկը, որի մասին մեր քաղաքական դիսկուրսում գրեթե որևէ մեկը չի խոսում՝ այն պարզ պատճառով, որ այդ դիսկուրսում ներառված գրեթե բոլորը նույնպես հոգու խոքում Բախ ատողներ ու որևէ Հայկո պաշտողներ են։

Այս միջավայրում ու հանրային նման որակների առկայության պայմաններում խոզի խանձումը՝ որպես նախասիրություն, ու խորովածը՝ որպես քաղաքացիականության հիմնական արժանիք ներկայացնողն իդեալական կերպար է երկրի ղեկավարի համար։

Ռաբիսն իրականում գոյություն ունի բոլոր հասարակություններում։ Բայց առողջ հանրույթներում այն ընդամենը ենթամշակույթ է։ Հայաստանում, սակայն, ռաբիսը վաղուց դարձել է հիմնական մշակութային տրենդ, ապրելաձև, մտածողություն։ Եվ օրինաչափորեն Հայաստանի ղեկավարի պաշտոնը զբաղեցնում է Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը՝ քաղաքական ռաբիսի անգերազանցելի արքան։
