«Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթը գրում է.
Ընդդիմադիր կուսակցությունների վեց առաջնորդները փետրվարի 2-ին ի վերջո հանդիպեցին:
Այդ հանդիպումը կայացավ ուշ երեկոյան՝ տեւելով 2-3 ժամ: «Ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթին հանդիպումից եւ քննարկված հարցերից մանրամասներ են հայտնի դարձել: Նախ նշենք, որ հանդիպմանը ներկա են եղել նախկին նախագահներ Սերժ Սարգսյանը, Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը, Արթուր Վանեցյանը, Վազգեն Մանուկյանը, Իշխան Սաղթելյանը եւ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը:
«ժողովուրդ» օրաթերթի տեղեկություններով՝ հանդիպման հիմնական թեման կրկին եղել է հնարավոր արտահերթ ընտրություններին մասնակցել-չմասնակցելու հարցը, եւ այդ առումով գլոբալ փոփոխություններ չեն եղել, քանի որ դրանից հետո էլ ուժերն իրենց կարծիքին են մնացել: Բանն այն է, որ, օրինակ, ԲՀԿ նախագահ Գագիկ Ծառուկյանը հանդիպման ժամանակ ասել է, թե, ամեն դեպքում, միայնակ է գնալու արտահերթ ընտրությունների, Արթուր Վանեցյանը կողմ է մի քանի կուսակցություններով մասնակցելուն, իսկ, ահա, ՀՀԿ նախագահ Սերժ Սարգսյանն էլ առհասարակ դեմ է մասնակցել արտահերթ ընտրություններին, եթե իշխանության լինի Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը:
«Դաշնակցությունն» ու Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանն էլ միասնական պայքարի կողմնակից են: Նկատենք, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ խոսվել է նաեւ այն մասին, որ պետք է առաջիկայում ակտիվացնել փողոցային պայքարը, հանրահավաքները եւ ավելի ակտիվանալ: Միեւնույն ժամանակ շատ մանրամասներ հանդիպման ժամանակ չեն քննարկվել, քանի որ Ռոբերտ Քոչարյանը պետք է մեկներ Մոսկվա, եւ այնտեղ եւս հանդիպումներ պետք է անցկացվեին:
Միեւնույն ժամանակ Վազգեն Մանուկյանը շարունակում է մնալ ընդդիմության միասնական թեկնածուն, եւ նրան չեն ցանկանում նեղացնել: Այսինքն՝ ընդդիմադիր ուժերը դեռ կոնսենսուսի չեն հասել:
