 Արցախի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կարեն Միրզոյանի և ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի ԱՄՆ համանախագահ Ջեյմս Ուորլիքի հանդիպումը Միացյալ Նահանգներում Ադրբեջանում հերթական հիստերիայի պատճառն է դարձել: Վկայակոչելով ադրբ եջանական ԱՊԱ գործակալությունը, հանդիպման առնչությամբ հայտարարություն է արել Ադրբեջանի նախագահի աշխատակազմի փոխղեկավար, արտաքին կապերի բաժնի վարիչ Նովրուզ Մամեդովը:

Նա սխալ է համարել Ուորլիքի կողմից նման հանդիպում ունենալու որոշումը՝ ընդգծելով, որ համանախագահը կարող էր հանդիպել Կարեն Միրզոյանի հետ այլ պայմաններում, սակայն ոչ Միացյալ Նահանգներում: «Այս ամենն Ադրբեջանի մոտ ԱՄՆ նկատմամբ որոշակի վերաբերմունք է ձևավորում»,- ասել է Մամեդովը:

Ադրբեջանում շարունակում են ԼՂ հիմնախնդրի խաղաղ կարգավորման հարցով զբաղվող ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահների դեմ հայտարարություններ հնչեցնել: Կարեն Միրզոյանի և Ջեյմս Ուորլիքի հանդիպման առնչությամբ ադրբեջանական Trend լրատվական գործակալությունը, հենվելով դիվանագիտական չբացահայտված աղբյուրի վրա, գրել էր, թե իբր Մինսկի խմբում ԱՄՆ համանախագահի փոփոխություն կարող է լինել: Լրատվամիջոցը հայտնել էր, որ Արցախի Հանրապետության արտգործնախարարի հետ հանդիպումը «վճռորոշ դեր կարող է ունենալ Ուորլիքի դիվանագիտական կարիերայի ավարտի հարցում» :

Աշխատանքային այցով ԱՄՆ-ում գտնվող Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի Հանրապետության արտաքին գործերի նախարար Կարեն Միրզոյանը դեկտեմբերի 8-ին հանդիպել էԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի համանախագահ դեսպան Ջեյմս Ուորլիքի հետ: Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են բանակցային գործընթացում առկա իրավիճակին առնչվող միշարք հարցեր: Մասնավորապես, երկուստեք ընդգծվել է հրադադարի խախտումները բացառելու և շփման գծում լարվածության նվազեցմանն ուղղված քայլերձեռնարկելու անհրաժեշտությունը:
