«Հայ Ասպետ» կրթադաստիարակչական-բարեգործական հիմնադրամի հիմնադիր-տնօրեն Կարին Տոնոյանն, ում որդին զոհվել է Արցախյան վերջին պատերազմում, ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է. «Վահան Բադասյանի ձերբակալումը նրա հաղթանակն է իրականում. ուրեմն շատ էր վախենալու, սա ձեռագիր է. փակել ամեն ինչ, ինչը իրենց ծախու տեսակի և նպատակների համար վտանգավոր է. օրինակ՝ պատահակա՞ն էր, արդյոք, որ իշխանության գալուց հետո առաջինը փակվեց «Հայ ասպետ» հայակերտ նախագիծը, իհարկե՝ ոչ, իրենք եկել էին ազգը հասարակություն դարձնելու, մենք հակառակն էինք անում. ուրեմն վախենալու էինք:
Իրականում Վահան Բադասյանն ասել է այն, ինչ ամեն օր հարյուրավոր ու հազարավոր հայեր ասում են, բայց նրանք չեն ձերբակալվում, որովհետև նրանք Վահան Բադասյան չեն: Իսկ ո՞վ է Վահան Բադասյանը, ինչո՞վ է այդքան վտանգավոր: Պատմեմ, թե ինչպես ենք ծանոթացել նրա հետ: 2016թ. ապրիլն էր, ինչպես շատ հայեր, մենք էլ «Հայ ասպետով» հավաքեցինք բազմապիսի օգնություն՝ ճակատի համար և հասանք Հադրութ. ես, մեր ընկեր Սամվելն ու որդիս՝ Մենուան: Ուզում էինք օգնությունը հասցնել հենց Լելե թեփե կոչված բարձունքի համար կռված տղերքին: Երկար չեմ գրի, ընդամենը կասեմ, որ երբ հասանք կառուցվող նոր «առաջնագիծը» տեսանք, որ պետության գործառույթն իր վրա էր վերցրել Բադասյանը՝ իր սեփական ողջ գյուղտեխնիկան տրամադրելով նոր դիրքեր կառուցելուն: Երբ դիրքերից վերադարձանք, ամբողջ գիշեր հյուրընկալվեցինք նրա տանը, որը յուրօրինակ ժողովրդական շտաբի էր վերածվել. ամեն րոպե ներս էին մտնում կամավոր դարձած հադրութցիներն ու տանում ամեն ինչ, ինչը պետք էր ճակատի համար. բայց ինձ ամենաշատը ապշեցրեց նրա կնոջ կերպարը, որը անտրտունջ ու անդադար սեղանն էր թարմացնում մտնող «ֆիդայինների» համար և մայրաբար ծածկում անգամ հատակին գցած անկողիններում մի քանի ժամով քնած աշխարհազորայիններին: Հիմա Բադասյանը կորցրել է իր այդ ամենահյուրանոց- տունը, իր ձեռնարկատիրական օբյեկտներն ու ՀԱՅՐԵՆԻՔԸ և ՈՒԶՈՒՄ ԵՔ ՆՄԱՆ ԲԱՆԵՐ ՉԱՍԻ՞, ԲԱ, Ի՞ՆՉ ԱՆԻ ...
Չէ՛, վախկոտներ, ձեր գերագույն վախկոտի հետ դուք չեք հասկանա՝ ինչ է հայրենիք-մարդը, չեք հասկանա, որ հայրենիքը բանտարկել չի լինում, որ նրանք անգամ ճաղերի հետևում իրենց հոգում են կրում Հայրենիքն ու Ազատությունը և դուք նրանց երբեք, երբեք չեք կարող բանտարկել...:
