Ամեն օր մամուլում տեղեկություններ են հրապարակվում այն մասին, որ իշխանությունը ամենատարբեր կոմպրոմատների, շանտաժի միջոցով փորձում է իր թիմակիցներին՝ իշխող «Իմ քայլը» խմբակցության պատգամավորներին, վերահսկելի պահել, կանխել նրանց հեռացումը։ Այսինքն՝ իշխանությունը, Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը կորցրել է հեղինակությունը անգամ սեփական թիմակիցների շրջանում և ստիպված է դիմել ծայրահեղ մեթոդների։

Իսկ իշխանությունն առանց հեղինակության՝ վերածվում է ընդամենը պարտադրանքի ֆորմալ լծակների համակարգի։ Առանց հեղինակության իշխանությունը դադարում է լինել մարդկային ու չի ծառայում մարդուն։ Առանց հեղինակության իշխանության համար մարդը նպատակից վեր է ածվում միջոցի։ Հենց դա է հիմա տեղի ունենում Հայաստանում։

Կառավարման, հոգեբանության մեջ, բացի իշխանության հեղինակությունից, առանձնացվում է նաև հեղինակության իշխանություն կատեգորիան։ Դա ոչ ֆորմալ իշխանության տեսակ է, որը կրում են հանրության մեջ հեղինակություն ունեցող խավերն ու անհատները։ Դա պայմանականորեն էլիտայի կամ ընտրախավի իշխանությունն է, որն առավելապես խոսքով կարող է ազդեցությունն ունենալ հանրային կյանքի վրա։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանն անցած շուրջ երեք տարիների ընթացքում հետևողականորեն ու մեթոդաբար կազմաքանդել է առանց այդ էլ հեղհեղուկ վիճակում գտնվող էլիտաները, նրա բոլոր քայլերն ուղղված են եղել երկրում բոլոր հեղինակությունների վերացմանն այնպես, որ միակ հեղինակությունը մնա ինքը։

Պատերազմը, սակայն, հողին է հավասարեցրել իր հեղինակությունը, ինչի արդյունքում այսօր Հայաստանն ապրում է տոտալ ճգնաժամ՝ իշխանության հեղինակության և հեղինակության իշխանության ճգնաժամ։

Իշխանությունը դադարել է ներկայացնել հանրային տրամադրությունները, նույն իշխանության իրականացրած քայլերի պատճառով քաղաքական դաշտն ամայացել է այնպես, որ չկան այդ տրամադրությունները ներկայացնող ուժեր ու անհատներ։ Բայց դրանից հանրային տրամադրությունները չեն վերանում կամ վերափոխվում, մթնոլորտը լցված է բողոքով, դժգոհությամբ, որը քաղաքական ձևակերպում չստանալու դեպքում կարող է ամենատարբեր, այդ թվում՝ վտանգավոր ու անցանկալի դրսևորումներ ստանալ։ Հայաստանը ներկայումս թևակոխել է լատենտ գործընթացների փուլ, որոնցում քաղաքականության դիսֆունկցիայի պատճառով ավելի ու ավելի հաճախ են հնչում բռնության, հաշվեհարդարի կոչեր։

Հեղինակության ճգնաժամի ու հեղինակությունների բացակայության պատճառով դրանք կարող են դառնալ պետության տակ դրված ականներ, որոնք կպայթեն առաջին իսկ կայծի դեպքում։ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանին թվում է, թե կեղծ օրակարգեր առաջ բերելով ու կեղծ գործընթացներ հարուցելով, այդ թվում՝ արտահերթ ընտրություններով, կարող է պարպել այդ դժգոհությունը, մինչդեռ առանց խնդիրների խորքային  պատճառների վերացման, կեղծիքն ինքը կարող է դառնալ պայթյունի համար անհրաժեշտ այդ աննշան կայծը։

Հայաստանն ապրում է իշխանության ու հեղինակության զուգահեռ ճգնաժամի պայմաններում՝ գործնականում առանց իշխանության ու առանց հեղինակությունների։ Դա, իր հերթին, կարող է ստեղծել նոր, ավելի խորը ճգնաժամ, որն արդեն հնարավոր չի լինի հաղթահարել ոչ իշխանության, ոչ էլ հեղինակությունների միջոցով։
