Սոթքի հանքը մասնակի գործում է, թե՛ աշխատակիցների, թե՛ բնակչների անվտանգությունն ապահովվում է և անվտանգության առումով դեռ որևէ խնդիր չի եղել: Այս մասին Tert.am-ը տեղեկացավ Սյունիքի մարզի Սոթք համայնքի ղեկավար Հակոբ Ավետյանից:

«Այս պահին հստակ չեմ կարող ասել՝ այդ հատվածում գծանշումներն ավարտվել են, թե ոչ, սակայն իմ տեղեկություններով՝  դեռ չեն չեն ավարտվել և դեռ վերջնական ճշգրտումների կարիք կա: Հիմա դեռ ոչինչ հստակ չէ և ճշգրտումներից հետո պարզ կլինի, թե որ հատվածը կանցնի թշնամու տիրaպետության տակ և որը կմնա մեր հսկողության ներքո: Կարող է ոչինչ էլ չանցնի, կամ կարող է նաև հակառակ պատկերն էլ լինի, հստակ ոչինչ դեռ չկա»,-ասաց նա:

Հիշեցնենք, որ ավելի վաղ Tert.am-ը տեղեկացրել էր, որ  Սոթքի հանքը  գործում է սահմանափակ ծավալներով, սակայն դեռ հրապարակման ենթակա մանրամասներ չկան:

Հիշեցնենք, որ 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 1-ին ՏԿԵ նախարարության մամուլի քարտուղար Արմինե Մուրադյանը փոխանցել էր, որ դեռ հանքն այդ պահին փակ է և բանակցություններ են ընթանում: Նա նշել էր, որ հստակ չէ, թե որքան կշարունակվեն բանակցությունները, քանի որ խնդիրը դեռ կարգավորման փուլում է։ «Բանակցությունը միջգերատեսչական տիրույթի հարց է, հետևաբար ես չեմ կարող պատասխանել այդ հարցին»,- ասել էր նա:

Հիշեցնենք նաև, որ 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերին պարզ դարձավ, որ Սոթքի ոսկու հանքը կիսով չափ կանցնի հայկական կողմին, կիսով չափ ադրբեջանական կողմին: Սահմանազատումները տեղի են ունեցել GPS-ի միջոցով:
