Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի խոսնակ Մանե Գևորգյանը, ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում անդրադառնալով Փաշինյանի՝ Մոսկվա կատարելիք այցին, գրել է, որ այցի օրակարգը տնտեսական բնույթ ունի, որը վերաբերվում է տարածաշրջանային կոմունիկացիաների բացմանը։ Գրառման մեջ ասվում է․

«Վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը հունվարի 11-ին աշխատանքային այցով կմեկնի Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն:

Մոսկվայում նախատեսված է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանի, Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի եւ Ադրբեջանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Իլհամ Ալիեւի եռակողմ հանդիպումը: Այցի շրջանակում վարչապետը նաեւ առանձնազրույց կունենա ՌԴ նախագահի հետ:

Նշեմ, որ եռակողմ հանդիպման նախապես պլանավորված օրակարգը տնտեսական բնույթ ունի, որը վերաբերվում է տարածաշրջանային կոմունիկացիաների բացմանը, միջազգային բեռնափոխադրումների իրականացմանը՝ այդ թվում Հայաստանից դեպի Ռուսաստանի Դաշնություն, Իրանի Իսլամական Հանրապետություն, ինչպես նաեւ Հայաստանի կենտրոնական հատվածներից դեպի Սյունիքի մարզ:

Ադրբեջանական կողմը եւ հայկական որոշ շրջանակներ անընդհատ շրջանառում են այսպես կոչված «Մեղրիի միջանցքի» թեման, սակայն ինչպես բազմիցս նշվել է՝ նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարության մեջ չկա ոչ Մեղրի, ոչ էլ Հայաստանի տարածքով միջանցք ստեղծելու մասին որեւէ դրույթ:

Հայկական կողմի համար, սակայն, անկյունաքարային եւ սկզբունքային է գերիների վերադարձի, ադրբեջանցիների թիկունքում մնացած մեր զինվորների որոնողափրկարարական աշխատանքների, զոհվածների մարմինների հայտնաբերման, անհետ կորածների ճակատագիրը պարզելու խնդիրը: Առանց այս հարցերի լուծման կամ էական առաջընթացի չափազանց դժվար կլինի տնտեսական օրակարգի արդյունավետ քննարկումը եւ հայկական կողմը այս խնդրի քննարկումը համարում է մոսկովյան հանդիպման առանցքային թեմաներից մեկը:

Ընդգծեմ նաեւ, որ Մոսկվայում Ղարաբաղի հարցի կամ տարածքային որեւէ հարցի լուծմանը վերաբերվող փաստաթղթի ստորագրում չի նախատեսվում: Եթե հանդիպման ընթացքում օրակարգային հարցերի, այսինքն՝ տնտեսական թեմաների, գերիների փոխանակման, անհետ կորածների հարցի շուրջ հնարավոր լինի հասնել համաձայնությունների, հնարավոր է հանդիպման արդյունքների վերաբերյալ համատեղ հայտարարության ստորագրում»:
