Եվրոպայում և Միացյալ Նահանգներում վերջերս տեղի ունեցած շատ իրադարձություններ վերահաստատել են Թուրքիայի նկատմամբ երկակի ստանդարտների առկայությունը: Այս մասին հայտարարել է Թուրքիայի նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը հունվարի 9-ին Էլյազըգ և Դիարբեքիր նահանգները կապող կամրջի և տրանսպորտային փոխանակման կետի բացման արարողության մասնակիցներին ուղղված տեսաուղերձում, գրում է «Անադոլու» գործակալությունը:

Էրդողանի խոսքերով` նրանք, ովքեր Թուրքիային մեղադրում են ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների ոլորտում առկա խնդիրների մեջ, իրենց դեպքում առաջին սպառնալիքի ժամանակ ընդունում են ամենախիստ սահմանափակումները:

«Արտերկրում գտնվող մի շարք շրջանակներ, որոնք միայն խոսքերով են արտահայտվում ահաբեկչական դրսևորումների դեմ, երկար տարիներ խոչընդոտում են Թուրքիայի կողմից հանցավորության դեմ պայքարին»,- ասել է թուրք առաջնորդը:

Երկրի ղեկավարը նշել է, որ Ֆրանսիայում վերջին ամիսների իրադարձությունները և օրերս ԱՄՆ-ում տեղի ունեցածը հաստատում են գործընթացների նկատմամբ արևմտյան երկրների մոտեցումների կողմնակալությունը:

«Ժամանակն է որ Արևմուտքը վերանայի իր դիրքորոշումը ժողովրդավարության և մարդու իրավունքների ինստիտուտների վերաբերյալ: Առանց ինքնաքննադատության և երկակի ստանդարտների մերժման, ինչպես նաև աշխարհում իրողությունների ճանաչման, նոր ճգնաժամ կառաջանա»,-նշել է  Էրդողանը:
